The Real Housewives: Andy Cohen Shares His Favorite Housewife Quote In Franchise

Andy Cohen, the patriarch of The Real Housewives, just shared his favorite quote from the entire franchise. There are many contenders in the running, considering all the famous lines throughout the seasons of the shows. The housewives are known for their pithy one-liners, especially in the midst of uncomfortable fights.

One of the most notable was Miss USA Kenya Moore’s, ‘Gone With the Wind fabulous,’ which occurred on a vacation with the cast of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Another popular line (which also became a meme, exploding with popularity) was The Real Housewives Of New York’s Luann de Lesseps: ‘Be cool. Don’t be all like, uncool.’

Andy recently was interviewed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, in order to promote his new book, Glitter Every Day: 365 Quotes From Women I Love. Stephen asked Andy, out of all the quotes in the book, which one was his favorite. It seemed difficult for the Bravo producer to answer the question, because “there are so many,” but he eventually supplied one from The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. The quote was, “Who Gon’ Check Me, Boo?” by the OG Shereé Whitfield, who said it in the premiere episode of season 2. Andy shared that he loved the quote because it resonated with him.

The line came from a scene in which Shereé was speaking in a heated discussion with Anthony, her party planner who brought up the word ‘checked.’ After hearing it, Shereé immediately responded with her now-famous retort. It became one of the most memorable moments in the franchise.

Shereé was recently announced as a returning cast member for The Real Housewives Of Atlanta after it was revealed that Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were leaving the show. Shereé was taken off the show after season 10 because it was too difficult for production to capture her full life (because her romantic interest was in prison, and the cameras couldn’t capture their scenes together). Now, however, the famous alum is back on the scene and is reportedly filming with her man again.

Another book that is making headlines is Dave Quinn’s new tell-all, Not All Diamonds, and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It. The book has caused quite a stir among the casts of The Real Housewives, exposing old secrets about the classic moments from the shows. In one of the chapters, Tamra Judge revealed that a producer asked her to throw wine at Jeana Keough, in the iconic scene at the OC party. In another chapter, costars from RHOBH explained details about the infamous Puppygate scandal, concerning the Queen of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump. It is perhaps a given that Lisa is also included in Andy’s book.
