The Office’s Kevin gets a unique reimagining as Pennywise in new mashup art. Originating in Stephen King’s 1986 horror novel IT, Pennywise is now arguably the most famous evil clown in horror. Most recently portrayed by Bill Skarsgård, Pennywise is known for his alluring red balloons and thirst for the flesh of children.

It now receives an unusual art crossover with a character from The Office. In art posted by officefansonly, Pennywise is reimagined as Kevin from The Office. Next to his pot of famous chili, Kevin dons makeup in the style of Skarsgård’s Pennywise look.

The mock movie poster, retitling its crossover film “It’s probably the thing I do best,” in reference to a classic Kevin line. The art even goes so far as to give the It crossover a mock MPA rating. It’s probably the thing I do best scores a “U,” which in this case stands for “Undercooked Onions.” The rating details warn that “Everybody is going to get to know each other in the pot.”

What Is Next for It and The Office Franchises?

While an uncanny crossover, this It and The Office mashup works hilariously well. As Pennywise lures children with red balloons, so too does Kevin with his supposedly-famous chili, bringing a vat into the office to unsuspecting coworkers. Admittedly, Kevin is much more bumbling than Pennywise, but this just makes the mock poster ever funnier.

Though massively different franchises, both IT and The Office could see their worlds expanding within the coming years. In IT’s case, this expansion is confirmed. The tale of Pennywise will receive a prequel series from HBO called Welcome to Derry. There is no release date yet for Welcome to Derry, but its production has been confirmed.

The Office’s future, on the other hand, remains a lot more dubious. Ever since the beloved show ended in 2013, viewers have been hoping for a reboot or spinoff. Recently, it was rumored that former showrunner Greg Daniels had a reboot in the works, though Daniels later claimed that The Office reboot chances were blown out of proportion. Still, there is some hope that The Office will return to small screens again, albeit not actually in the form of an IT crossover.
