The Most Dramatic Moments From The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8 Trailer

Below Deck Mediterranean season 8 returns soon, and the trailer had many dramatic moments. Captain Sandy Yawn is back at the helm with fan-favorites, crew members from other spinoffs, and new yachties. The Below Deck Med season 8 crew embarks on the M/Y Mustique sailing around the Italian Riviera. They will be greeting demanding charter guests, enjoying crazy nights out, and engaging in heated feuds with one another.

Natalya Scudder caused a lot of drama on Below Deck Med season 7. She will be making her comeback as a second stew, along with stew Kyle Viljoen, who left early last season. Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo and deckhand Luka Brunton are crossing over from Below Deck Down Under, and newcomers Chef Jack Luby, Bosun Ruan Irving, deckhands Haleigh Gorman and Lara Du Preez, and stew Jessika Asai will make their franchise debuts. With a cast full of both old and new faces, Below Deck Med season 8 will be packed with drama, as seen in the trailer.

The Returning Below Deck Crew Members

Long-time Below Deck franchise viewers will be excited to see returning crew members from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Down Under. Tumi is stepping up as Chief Stew after appearing as a second stew on Below Deck Down Under season 1. According to the Below Deck Med season 8 trailer, it seems like Tumi gets into a heated feud with returning second stew, Natalya. Luka, who recently came on the scene as a new deckhand on Below Deck Down Under season 2, will be crossing over to Below Deck Med. Kyle was a fan-favorite on Below Deck Med season 7, and is back to stir up drama as a third stew.

Luka’s Several Crew Hook Ups

Below Deck Down Under- Luka Brunton

Luka is making the most of his time in the Below Deck franchise to hook up with several women on the boat. The trailer shows him kissing Natalya, Haley, and Jessika, while saying, “my goal is to not get too distracted by these ladies.” When asked about her relationship status with Luka, Jessika claims they are “just friends,” but then calls the two “f*** buddies” immediately after. It certainly seems like Luka will be making waves on the boat by pursuing nearly every female crew member.

Fighting Between Tumi & Natalya

The interior crew’s arguments on Below Deck Med season 8 will be more dramatic than ever, especially the one between Tumi and Natalya. In the beginning of the trailer, Tumi says to Natalya, “You have been attacking me since day one.” The second stew’s reply was anything but pleasant. “Excuse me? You stepped on board with the worst attitude,” Natalya clapped back to her superior. Later in the trailer, Tumi says Natalya’s organization is a “sh*t show,” to where Natalya responds, “Don’t do this with me.” It’s clear that the stews won’t be getting along at all throughout the season.

Captain Sandy Is Fed Up With Someone

Captain Sandy from Below Deck Med

Captain Sandy is known for being a no-nonsense boss, and her limits will be tested on Below Deck Med season 8. In the trailer, she’s overheard saying to someone, “I will pull you on the dock so fast if you don’t change.” However, it’s unknown whether Captain Sandy is talking to a crew member or a charter guest. During another incident, Captain Sandy brings a charter guest into the wheelhouse, which is very rare in the Below Deck franchise. She tells the guest, “he’s a problem for us, you have to get him under control, or he’s off the boat,” referring to another charter guest, whose drunken antics are causing issues.

Natalya & Kyle’s Feud Seemingly Continues

Natalya and Kyle are both returning to the interior crew for Below Deck Med season 8, but it looks like their feud will continue. On Below Deck Med season 7, Kyle was under fire for telling a charter guest that Natalya didn’t clean the VIP suite. At the reunion, he claimed that he never criticized her about her work standards, but Natalya wasn’t buying it.

Although the two seemed to have made amends since, they are seen fighting again in the Below Deck Med season 8 trailer. “You will never control me,” Kyle yells to Natalya. “What’s your name? I’ll continue with this until the end of the charter.” Later on in the trailer, Natalya calls Kyle a “horrible human,” to where he replies, “fit in the shoebox honey, so are you.” Viewers will have to wait until Below Deck Mediterranean season 8 premieres on September 25 to see how Natalya and Kyle’s feud plays out.
