The Masked Singer: Hawk Identity Prediction & Clues

The Masked Singer season 10 features Hawk, one of the 16 mystery celebrity singers, and there are many clues to his true identity. In its milestone season, The Masked Singer welcomes back host Nick Cannon, along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger. During the premiere, Demi Lovato was revealed to be Anonymouse in a special unmasking.

Hawk is one of four contestants who sang in the first round of the Group B competition on The Masked Singer season 10 “A Celebration of Elton John” Night, an episode that honored the iconic singer and musician. He was joined by Husky and Tiki, who moved on with him to the next round, which will be Harry Potter Night. In addition, Royal Hen was eliminated, and revealed to be legendary tennis player and activist Billie Jean King. Here are the clues to help figure out who Hawk might be.

Hawk’s Elton John Night Performances & Clues

On The Masked Singer season 10 Elton John Night, Hawk sang a rousing rendition of “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting).” His spirited performance included dancing. He really got the crowd going. Hawk’s clue package began with him staring up at a full moon in a desert. He said, “As a young bird, I was always hanging out with adults, and grew up pretty fast into the family business.” The words, “Masked Singer Hawkpocalypse” then flashed on the screen in bright yellow letters, with a red animated hawk flying within them.

Hawk was then shown walking alone on an empty road. He continued, “But, around other birds my age, I was super shy, closed-off. I felt alone, like a total reject. Until, one day I heard a sound that changed my life in a blink of an eye: heavy guitar chords blaring from my speakers that got my teen heart beating.” Hawk then stood in front of speakers blaring rock music. He went on to say, “This fast, raw music blew up my world, and the fallout? Boards, brawn, and bruises.” An open treasure chest filled with riches was then shown, alongside a candelabra with no candles.

Hawk then walked up to a tour bus that had a replica of his mask on the front of it. He said, “I built my own voice in my own way. I had the time of my life touring.” A postcard that said, “Greetings from New York,” was shown under the windshield wiper. Hawk continued, “I found my power in grimy buses and hot parking lots. I’d never been happier among my clique.” He was then shown playing a guitar chord as fire came out of the top of the instrument. Hawk concluded his clue package playing the guitar on top of the speakers, saying, “And I realized being a reject is totally fine by me.”

After Hawk’s The Masked Singer performance, another clue about him was revealed. It was a photograph of Miley Cyrus. Hawk explained, “Just like the great Elton John, I too have collaborated with Miley Cyrus, and I LOVED every second of it.” Later in the episode, Hawk went into the Smackdown versus Royal Hen. They sang, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” The panelists chose Hawk to move on, while Royal Hen was revealed to be Billie Jean King.

Hawk’s Identity Prediction

The Masked Singer panelists had many predictions for Hawk’s identity. Ken thought he might be Cole Sprouse because Cole’s show, The Suite Life With Zack & Cody, had a crossover episode with Miley’s show, Hannah Montana. Nicole said that she was stuck on Hawk’s moves and how he worked the stage, and his “sweet air guitar.” She also used the “fallout” clue to guess that Hawk might be Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy. Robin didn’t recognize Hawk’s voice, but used the moon, pirate treasure chest, and air guitar to come up with Goonies star Corey Feldman. Ken also mentioned Austin Butler, who guest starred on Hannah Montana.

Hawk made a great first impression on The Masked Singer Elton John Night. As the competition continues, many more clues about his identity will be revealed. Hawk is soaring to the top of The Masked Singer season 10 competition.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
