One of The Mandalorian’s stars has just revealed the hilarious origins of Bo-Katan’s name.
Katee Sackhoff revealed in a recent podcast that Bo-Katan is named after Dave Filoni’s wife, Anne Convery, and her cat, Boogie. In an interview with Matt Lanter, Katee Sackhoff said this:
“[Bo-Katan’s] named after Anne [Filoni] and a cat. Anne’s cat Boogie. […] Which is weird because people think that it was drafted after me, and I’m like… no, no, that’s Dave’s wife, Anne! We just look enough alike that they could actually work.”
