The Lazarus Project Clip Features A Violent Confrontation [EXCLUSIVE]

Screen Rant is thrilled to present an exclusive new clip from The Lazarus Project episode 3, which shows a tense and violent confrontation. The new TNT sci-fi series has already made a name for itself with European audiences and is now quickly becoming a hit in the US, exploring the inner workings of the shadowy titular organization and its involvement with time travel. The show stars I May Destroy You‘s Paapa Essiedu, Vigil‘s Anjli Mohindra, The Split‘s Rudi Dharmalingam, and C.B. Strike‘s Tom Burke.

The Lazarus Project is a mysterious group that utilizes time travel to prevent apocalyptic events from impacting Earth, turning back the clock with special technology in order to repeatedly save humanity. However, the overall morals of the organization are quite questionable, with the motives of continuing to stop fate while also refusing to utilize their technology to solve smaller issues causing unrest among members. The Lazarus Project sets itself apart from other sci-fi series by also incorporating a blend of action, comedy, romance, and personal stories alongside its main plot.

More About The Lazarus Project

The Lazarus Project Clip Features A Violent Confrontation [EXCLUSIVE]

Screen Rant‘s exclusive clip centers around a confrontation between Lazarus member Dennis Rebrov and his boss Wes. After being repeatedly put through traumatic time loops, Rebrov demands to know who exactly he’s working for. Wes tells him that he works for her, and that’s as high up in the chain of command as he needs to worry about. She then tries to apologize to him for what he’s been through, but he’s completely unreceptive, and from here the scene escalates quickly as someone barges in whom Dennis immediately shoots, stating afterward that “the world wants to die.”

This intense scene really sets the tone for how things have been progressing in The Lazarus Project as more and more people begin to question the organization. The personal tragedies of those involved have begun to outweigh their sense of duty, which will no doubt cause increasing amounts of conflict as the season continues. Viewers will be able to see the aftermath of this encounter when The Lazarus Project episode 3 premieres.

The Lazarus Project airs Sundays at 9/8c on TNT.
