The WWE 2K22 roster is loaded with star-studded talent from both present and past WWE, but only a select few reach those high ratings to dominate the ring. With nearly 200 superstars on the WWE 2K22 roster after DLC and in-game unlocks, players have plenty of variety in their choices. That makes it vital to find the highest-rated wrestlers.
When WWE 2K22 was released, there were already around 100 playable wrestlers on the standard edition with no add-ons. However, this number raised to around 170 wrestlers if the player purchased the nWo 4-Life edition or purchased the SuperCharger Pack. Furthermore, after completing different showcase periods in the 2K Showcase game mode, that number rises to around 190 wrestlers.
There will also be several planned DLC releases in WWE 2K22 throughout the year, and these will include new wrestlers that can also be highly rated superstars. One of the first DLC releases will consist of the likes of Umaga and Rikishi. One of the later DLC releases will also include Ronda Rousey and Mr. T.

It is obvious looking through this list that 2K heavily leaned on making former superstars higher rated than current superstars. 19 of the 30 superstars with a 90 rating or above are from a different era of wrestling and only occasionally appear part-time, if at all. Some players are creating other popular wrestlers from the AEW wrestling world in the WWE 2K22 Community Creations, like Sting. Some of these wrestlers may have higher ratings but are not counted for this purpose since they are created characters. However, this list of superstars should help players dominate the ring in any scenario or match in WWE 2K22.
