The Game Awards 2020 Player’s Voice Voting Is Now Open

The Game Awards 2020 arrives toward the end of this year, giving gamers around the world a chance to voice their opinion on what the best game is. There are tons of games being released, all with different genres, animation styles, and themes. These games also come from companies both big and small, ranging from massive development teams to a few people. Fans were uncertain if there would be a Game Awards this year due to the ongoing pandemic, but were ensured that it will be happening.

The Game Awards just announced the opening of player’s voices voting for 2020. What this means is people from around the world can sign in to the website and vote for their favorite games. This first round features 30 different games, like Genshin Impact, which has been extremely popular in the mobile industry. Voters can select up to 10 of their favorite games, and by this Friday, votes will be counted up and the bottom 20 games will be eliminated.

This will then begin round two, where people will get the opportunity to vote between the next 10 games. After that, there will be a 3rd round that officially decides the best game of 2020. The votes will be counted on the official The Game Awards website, which requires people to sign up and create an account likely to make votes more legitimate.
