After extensive success on network television, The Challenge is slated to expand on Paramount+, via new formats and spin-offs. The cornerstone series will evolve with several new versions, one of which will come to CBS this summer. More all-star competitions are in the works, including All Star Shore and The Challenge: War Of the Worlds.
After another successful season of The Challenge: All-Stars, Paramount+ has decided to up the ante on the popular franchise. The new spin-off brings together past stars from earlier seasons, who deal with their own vendettas and agendas as they try to win the game. These veteran The Challenge players will tackle new tests that push them to their physical limits. The in-house feuds and grueling obstacles should keep viewers coming back. With a strong lineup of reality shows taking over the platform, Paramount+ has decided to increase its roster of reality mashups.
Paramount+ recently unveiled the rollout of new shows coming to the network, as noted by Deadline. Among the new competition reality shows are a few new versions of The Challenge, which are coming to the streaming platform. All-Star Shore brings together 14 cast members from different shows to Gran Canaria, where they will battle it out for the ultimate bragging rights. Competitors will consist of reality star alum from shows like Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Geordie Shore, Acapulco Shore, Bachelor in Paradise, Love is Blind, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. A new version of The Challenge is coming to CBS and will include the network in the title. The show will be cast with “CBS All-Stars” and include past players from Survivor, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race.
A new Challenge: War of the Worlds is coming to the network, which will follow the winner of The Challenge: CBS and their competition as they battle against winners from The Challenge: UK, The Challenge: Australia, and The Challenge: Argentina, trying to win the first-ever title “Challenge World Champion” title. A new season of The Challenge: All-Stars is also returning after two well-received seasons. Considering the popularity of the franchise, it makes sense that the network is investing in its expansion. Fans can also look forward to the return of The Real World Homecoming: New Orleans. After watching the New York and Los Angeles housemates reunite in seasons 1 and 2, the New Orleans cast is set to return to their old house and work out their unfinished business.
Other shows returning to Paramount+ include RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars and the drag queen singing competition Queen of The Universe. For fans who were missing the tattoo competition show Ink Master, they can look forward to its return on Paramount+. The massive lineup is sure to reel in viewers across these popular franchises. With new versions of The Challenge on the way, fans will be tuning in to see who returns or plays the game for the first time.
