The Brady Bunch Characters Sorted Into Hogwarts Houses

The Brady Bunch Characters Sorted Into Hogwarts Houses

The Brady Bunch is a classic TV show that was on the air between 1969 and 1974. It focused on a big and blended family, full of members with varying personality traits, strengths, interests, and vibes.

Now, after the Harry Potterbooks and movies came out, fans enjoyed thinking about their own traits and deciding which Hogwarts house they would most likely end up in if given the chance. And some have possibly wondered which houses the Brady kids and parents would wind up in, as well. Here are some possibilities!

Mike – Gryffindor

Mike was a model father, as he led his family with fairness, strength, and kindness. In episodes of this television series, he could often be found having heart-to-heart conversations with his kiddos, as he guided them through the ups and downs of life.

Due to the loving and confident way he parented and lived, Mike probably would have been sorted into Gryffindor. The famous ones who are known by the world, after all, are also fair, brave, and caring.

Carol – Hufflepuff

Carol was a picturesque mother, as she volunteered at her children’s school events, led the day-to-day functions of the Brady household, sang at the family’s church, and goofed around with her loved ones.

Even with six kids and all the craziness that came along with that, Carol remained patient and bubbly, meaning it is easy to imagine her as a Hufflepuff! Plus, she looks good in yellow, as seen here.

Greg – Gryffindor

Greg Brady in the later seasons of The Brady Bunch

As the oldest child, Greg was the ultimate cool guy. He played numerous sports, did well in school, played the guitar in a dreamy way, and was always there to give his siblings advice.

He definitely seemed like a true Gryffindor, as he was confident and talented yet also chivalrous and sweet. He was a real leader, in a variety of ways, and positive/influential people often end up in this house.

Marcia – Gryffindor

On a similar note, Marcia was the oldest daughter/sister of the group, and she, too, surely would have been sorted into Gryffindor’s house.

She was popular, smart, pretty, and friendly, but she didn’t really brag about her achievements; yes, even though she seemed to have it all, she was also raised to be nice and polite.

Peter – Hufflepuff

Peter could be impulsive, clumsy, and self-doubting, but he had a fun-loving personality. That being said, he may have been a Hufflepuff, if he had been part of the Sorting Ceremony at Hogwarts.

These types are loyal, hardworking, and enthusiastic, which are all things that this character could be.

Jan – Ravenclaw

Next up on the list is Jan, who was a bit nerdy. She kind of felt like she lived in her older sister’s shadow, as everyone always went on and on about Marcia. She had her own set of skills and interests, though, and she seemed pretty bright.

Therefore, the house that seems to fit her best is Ravenclaw, as it is filled with wise, creative, and logical individuals. Just look at her thinking face here!

Bobby – Slytherin

Bobby brady

The youngest son in the Brady family was Bobby, and he just may have been the only family member to be sorted as a Slytherin!

Those in this house are cunning and resourceful, and Bobby was that typical mischievous little boy he could be stubborn and who got into his fair share of trouble. Later, he also dropped out of college to become a race-car driver… something he lied about to his family (just because he knew they would not be happy yet he felt so passionate about following his dream).

Cindy – Hufflepuff

The baby of the group was Cindy, and she was a precious little girl who enjoyed playing with dolls, having a good time, keeping up with what all of her siblings were up to, and pleasing her parents.

It is possible she would have been a Hufflepuff, as well, due to her outgoing personality and her loyalty to her family; she may have listened in on conversations and tattled some as a child, but she really did get pleasure from doing the right thing and keeping everyone happy.

Alice – Hufflepuff

Ann B. Davis as Alice on The Brady Bunch

Don’t forget about Alice! She was the family’s live-in housekeeper, as well as a friend and honorary family member. She cooked and cleaned and played and listened, and during it all, she never complained or slowed down or fell down on the job.

Due to her endurance, devotion, and attentiveness, Alice seemed most like another Hufflepuff. It seems there may have been quite a few from this show in this Hogwarts house if they had ever gotten sorted in that magical universe.

Tiger – Hufflepuff

Last but not least, there was the Bradys’ pet dog, Tiger.

This animal was not featured a ton or even throughout the entire series, but as a canine, Tiger surely would have ended up in Hufflepuff; these pets are usually quite loyal, and Tiger’s cute face would have fit in well here!
