Working for the same company with your two best friends is a dream come true for these three besties. With a show based on the foundation of friendship, there are destined to be many moments that epitomize what it means to be a good friend. Read on to see if your favorite moment between our favorite ladies at Scarlet made the cut.

Convincing Jane to Come to Paris

The Bold Type: 10 Best Friendship Moments

In the season two finale audiences go to see a selected group from Scarlet head to Paris for fashion week. This included Kat and Sutton, but unfortunately not Jane.

Getting to experience this opportunity didn’t feel right without their third.

So they put their minds together to figure out a way that she can come. Kat offering her abundance of frequent flier miles and Sutton opening up her hotel room, this was an offer that Jane couldn’t refuse.

Walking in Sutton’s Fashion Show

It’s not easy changing careers, but when Sutton wanted to get back into designing she had her best friends’ full support behind her. That showed when Sutton had a pivotal moment when it was time to showcase her designs. Instead of picking typical models she chose to have her friends and coworkers model to highlight real women. In doing so, this showed Jane and Kat how much Sutton values their friendship through her work.

Topless In The Park

For breast cancer awareness, audiences’ favorite ladies from Scarlet decide to take part in being topless in the park. Jane doesn’t feel comfortable so she does not participate.

While working on her article regarding gene testing for breast cancer, Jane is constantly reminded of her mom, who unfortunately lost her battle with cancer. Still learning to cope with her feelings, she leans on Sutton and Kat. Eventually deciding that she would like to go back to the park with them and embrace…

Supporting Kat Post Break Up

There is no feeling like losing someone you love, let alone your first real love. When Kat met Adena she didn’t know that she would end up falling for her. Through their relationship, she learned, grew and overall became more herself, but when things took a turn for the worst Jane and Sutton were there to support her. Every step of the way from the gut-wrenching heartbreak to healing and liberation, her two best friends were there.

Convincing Sutton Not To Move Back Home

Sutton throughout her life hasn’t always had the best luck. Growing up with an alcoholic mom and living mainly paycheck to paycheck, she is used to expecting the worst. Always saving a 100 dollar bill, enough for a ticket back home, just in case things don’t work out.

When Sutton thinks that things with her pending job offer might go awry, she suspects that it might be time to pack things up and head home. But Jane and Kat remind her that if worse comes to worst they will work something out together. Reassuring her that she doesn’t have to have one foot out the door anymore, and that she is home.

Shooting Skeet

All friendships are tested at one point or another. Whether it be adjusting to their new significant others, job changes, etc. For these three, their differing views on guns took a brief but impactful toll on their relationship.

After finding out that Sutton keeps her shotgun in their apartment, Jane felt betrayed and lied to. Not knowing how they will get through this, eventually, they all ended up going to shoot skeet. Sutton wanted to show them that it is safe. Despite her efforts, Jane still felt extremely uncomfortable. Leading them all to have a discussion regarding how they feel and why. Even though this tested their friendship, it, in the end, made it stronger through communication and understanding.

Screaming at the Subway

How could this iconic moment not make the list?

In the pilot episode after dealing with many stressors in their lives, they needed to let out their frustrations out. Not knowing where else to go they end up waiting in evening gowns, for the thunder rolling subway to come so that they can scream all of their troubles away.

This being one of the introductory moments with Kat, Sutton, and Jane, it helped audiences connect with what they were going through and see their bond from the get-go.

Drunk in Bathtub

Meeting your best friend’s significant other is stressful enough, but when everything seems to go wrong, somehow everyone needs to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Kat is dealing with a social media crisis, while Jane realizes that she can’t handle dating more than one guy at a time.

After networking at high tea, Sutton ends up unknowingly gets stoned, showing up to the dinner party, not like herself. Ending the night with all three girls intoxicated in one way or another sitting in the bathtub together. Even with all of the chaos going on in their lives, it seems as though all roads lead back to one another.

Supporting Sutton moving in with Richard

Friendships evolve with work schedules, family obligations and relationships that need to be nurtured. It was only a matter of time before Sutton and Richard’s relationship took the next step.

Seeing how happy he makes her and all that they have been through together, Jane and Kat let her know that regardless of what she decides that they’ll support her through and through.

This development was especially hard on Jane since she’d be losing her roommate. But she put her personal and financial feelings aside knowing that this is what Sutton wanted.

Testing Jane for BRACA Gene

There’s nothing scarier than the possibility of something being wrong with your health. Let alone something as serious as breast cancer.

At a young age, Jane’s mom passed away from breast cancer, and when she found out that she would be the perfect candidate to get tested for the BRCA gene, Jane was hesitant, to say the least.

When she decided that she wanted to find out whether or not she had the gene, Sutton and Kat were by her side throughout the whole process. Knowing that she could have a higher risk of developing the disease that took her mom is hard enough, but having her two best friends there lets her know that she’s not alone.
