What transpires between the friends on The Big Bang Theory usually ends on a positive note, no matter how big of a fight or disappointment they go through. The series is famous for its buddy moments, even between exes, like Penny and Leonard before they reunited as a couple, and this is often seen in some of its most heartwarming quotes and bits of dialog.

Although this quote is much longer and part of a more extensive speech, Sheldon’s introduction to his endearing “thank you” note to the group is a tearjerker. For 12 seasons, fans became so used to watching the rigid yet hilarious personality that Sheldon is known for. Even when he’s with Amy, he has his moments that are just plain self-centered or rude.
But here is where fans see that Sheldon has grown. He did some shocking things in the past, but realized how much his friends have done for him, and as he says, “tolerated” him, at times. Sheldon’s words go a long way at this moment and are the perfect close to both a character and a show.

After throwing compliment after compliment to each other in front of a crowd, the two stop and realize how great their friendship is when Raj expresses his pride and adoration for his best friend. Even Bernadette takes note of this bromance moment and asks hilariously, “What is happening?”
“Oh My God, Amy’s My Best Friend.”
It looks like that gigantic photo of the two besties went a long way in the end. All jokes aside, Penny and Amy’s friendship came a long way to the point where Penny finally realizes they’re best friends.
Once Amy is in the middle of choosing her maid of honor, Penny suddenly starts to feel jealous of Bernadette and her closeness with Amy. After Penny’s little rant over the whole situation, she bluntly says that Amy is her best friend.
“Don’t Be Silly, Leonard. I Will Always Be Your Problem.”
This whole scene is truly a heartwarming moment between these boys. Leonard starts to tear up as he helps Sheldon get his tuxedo in order for his wedding. Not only is he happy for Sheldon, but Leonard also says he’s looking forward to his roommate becoming Amy’s problem from now on.
The sweetest part of this entire scene is when Sheldon says that he’ll always be Leonard’s problem, despite the fact that he’s not legally anymore. The comical moment is still one of the sweetest moments between the best buddies.
“I Apologize If I Haven’t Been The Friend You Deserve.”
What fan didn’t cry at this moment when it first aired? The entire final scene of Sheldon and Amy winning the Nobel Prize can make anyone’s heart swell. After Sheldon introduces all his friends to the crowd, he does something the group has wanted him to do for quite some time.
Sheldon apologizes to them for not acting like the friend they deserve. His statement reflects how much the gang has sacrificed for Sheldon, but it also reveals how thankful he is for his other family.
Raj, Thank You For Being My Friend.”
It was definitely a moment when fans learned that Raj and Penny apparently hooked up. Viewers later find out from Raj that the two didn’t actually get that far, but Raj is nevertheless jokingly asking Penny if he can walk around saying they’re in love.
After she lays down the ground rules, Penny thanks Raj for being her friend — a moment that truly defines how much Penny cares about Raj as a friend.
“If You Weren’t My Friend, There Would Be A Hole In My Life.”
Fans have their own opinions about The Big Bang Theory toxic characters or toxic couples. But perhaps the most toxic duo, initially, are Howard and Sheldon. Sheldon consistently derides Howard for being an astronaut, even one time telling him that what he does is pointless, in his opinion.
Once Howard brings Sheldon on a plane to Houston with him, the two experience a turbulent flight and share a sweet yet hilarious moment on the plane. They clasp hands and brace for an impact that never comes, thankfully, and express sorrow and graciousness to one another.
“He’s A Little Broken, And He Needs Me. I Guess I Need Him Too.”
This was another sweet moment involving the two, except this time, Leonard does the talking. He tells Professor Proton in a conversation regarding Sheldon, that while Sheldon may be a little broken, he himself needs his roommate.
Leonard does this in response to the professor’s question of why he puts up with Sheldon. Although it’s certainly a good question that deserves an awesome response, Leonard handles it maturely and the way that a good friend would handle it.
“No Problem, My Treat.”
While the other TBBT bromances won’t be forgotten, this one definitely shouldn’t be either. Stuart becomes a much more significant character on the show, so it’s great to see this funny yet endearing moment between him and Raj in the comic book store.
After asking Stuart to hang out with him and catch a movie or go out to eat, Stuart admits he is in a tough financial situation and can’t afford to spend much money. This is why Raj says he’s happy to take care of the whole time, on his dime. Out of many other moments, this is a caring and thoughtful moment between the two because of how selfless Raj in this scene.
