The fleshing out of The Batman universe will happen later than expected as the upcoming DC show, The Penguin, is targeting a new release window on Max.
During a recent event to promote their plans for 2024, Max content boss Casey Bloys revealed that The Penguin (via @Megsokay) will be coming out in Fall 2024.
The plan was to initially release The Penguin during the spring, but in light of the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Max is having to push back the series premiere.
