Clare Crawley left The Bachelorette when she got engaged to contestant Dale Moss after just two weeks, and a lot of public negativity has surrounded this instant relationship. Rumors swirled that Dale was a cheater and that Clare was pressuring her younger fiancé into starting a family. Through it all, the two have adamantly defended their love against the haters. However, things may have changed. According to some Instagram super sleuths, it’s possible the happy couple has actually split.
The romance of Clare and Dale was unorthodox from the start. Clare, 39, shook up the entire The Bachelorette franchise when she set her sights on Dale (and only Dale). She broke up with her remaining suitors to pursue an engagement with the 32-year-old former football player, referring to Dale Moss as her “husband.” Much of Bachelor Nation didn’t trust the relationship, especially after Dale was spotted giving a quick kiss to a mystery woman in New York City. Still, all seemed well on social media, with Clare and Dale regularly posting gushy photos together.
However, as reported by Heavy, Clare and Dale’s love-at-first-sight connection may be dwindling. The Instagram account @Bacheloring, which boasts over 43,000 followers, recently claimed that both parties deleted new pictures together. Also deleted was the comment “I’ll never leave you,” posted by Dale on one of Clare’s photos. While this isn’t solid proof of a split, the plot continues to thicken. Clare shared on her Clare Crawley Instagram a sweet shot of herself holding her sick mother’s hand. Her left ring finger is (possibly) strategically hidden inside her mom’s gloved hand. Surprisingly, Dale appears to have not acknowledged his fiancé’s emotional post. Instead, he took to his own @dalemoss13 Instagram Story to share a cryptic reading about the importance of having faith during moments of doubt. He said, “God’s plan is bigger than we can imagine.” It’s possible that Dale was simply having a moment of hardship and finding strength in his religion. However, after taking into consideration the previously-mentioned clues, it may be more likely that he’s experiencing issues with Clare. See a screenshot of his post below.
Neither Clare nor Dale has addressed the breakup rumors just yet, but members of Bachelor Nation wasted no time in tweeting their opinions. Many expressed their lack of surprise at the situation. Only time will tell whether or not these rumors are true. If they are, it’s safe to say that Clare will be crushed. She’s dreamed of finding a good man for years and was unlucky in love on The Bachelor franchise numerous times. From the moment Dale Moss stepped out of the limo on night one, she was convinced this tall, dark, and handsome man would be her husband someday. What a letdown it will be if it doesn’t come true.
