I like games that allow me to take on the role of a mad scientist, conjuring impossible beasts that are unbeatable. Granted, there aren’t many games like that, but if there were, I’d be all over it. The Hero Strike Deck is a creative type of deck that will awaken the mad scientist in all of us.
Hero Strike is a deck of 45 cards including one ultra-rare, four super-rare, and 40 common cards. This deck uses Elemental Heroes who rely on the power of Fusion Summoning. With Fusion Summoning you can fuse monsters together with spells like Polymerization and Miracle Fusion to Summon even greater Elemental HERO Fusion Monsters. Fusion monsters have their own unique powers and abilities. The spells also allow you to create a secret identity Masked HERO monster. These monsters are summoned with the quick-spell play card Mask Change. What ya do is target one of your HEROs and send it to the Graveyard Then you can special summon a Masked HERO with the same attribute from your Extra Deck. The abilities of the Masked HEROs can elevate your gaming strategy.

Dinosmasher’s Fury

Ah, the mighty dinosaur. What an excellent representation of survival of the fittest where only the strong survive. Boiling it down to its true nature, Yu-Gi-Oh matches that prehistoric paradigm; the best wins. Dinomasher’s Fury is a deck that lets you get to the roots of the game as you get your dino on.
Dinomasher’s Fury is a deck of 41 cards including two ultra-rare, three super-rare, and 36 common cards. There’s also one common token. This is a deck that is great for Xyz summoning because it is adept at summoning multiple dinosaurs of the same level at the same time. This deck puts pack-hunting on a prehistoric level. A highlight of the deck is the 3500 ATK monster Ultimate Conductor Tyranno which is capable of dominating entire game boards itself. With supporting cards that have awesome dinosaurs in their own right, Ultimate Conductor Tyranno can destroy monsters and place them in the face-down defense position. While some consider defense the best offense, all the defense in the world doesn’t matter if you don’t attack. And there is no better way to attack than via a single turn otherwise known as a one-turn-kill (OTK). With plenty of OTK opportunities, the Cyber Dragon Revolution Deck is an attack strategist’s dream come true.
Based on the Cyber Dragon Archetype, Cyber Dragon Revolution is comprised of 42 cards with two ultra-rare, and two super-rare cards to go along with the 38 commons. Two of the cards are for the extra deck and contain Zane Truesdale’s Fusion Monster, Cyber Twin Dragon, and an Xyz Monster. The main deck monsters include Cyber Dragon Core, Cyber Dragon, Cyber Dragon Vier, Cyber Dragon Drei, and Cyber Dragon Herz, but the star of the show is Cyber Nova Dragon. Based on the DARK attribute, Lair of Darkness is a 42-card deck comprised of two ultra-rare, three super-rare, and one token card. There are three super-useful effects in this deck, each steering you to a particular strategy. First, there is the Lair of Darkness Spell which turns every monster on the field into a DARK attribute monster. It’s not a one-shot strategy, but using the support cards makes it effective. Secondly is Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair, with the special ability allowing you to Tribute a DARK monster to attack your opponent’s hand. Thirdly, there’s the more measured approach via searching for three trap cards from the deck to subject an opponent’s monster to, and the ability to unleash a deadly virus upon your opponent. Egyptian God Deck-Slifer the Sky Dragon

Who says a good Yu-Gi-Oh deck has to be a competitive one to be fun? Sure, it’s great to build a deck that will help you crush the competition, but what about just enjoying the game for itself? The Egyptian God Deck-Slifer the Sky Dragon is a fun Yu-Gi-Oh deck that may not have overly powerful cards, but it is full of fun. Within the deck, there is one Egyptian God.
One of the Anime-inspired decks, Slifer contains 40 cards including four ultra-rare, four super rare, and 32 commons. Slifer, the Egyptian God, and a Devine Beast, requires three Tributes to normal summon, which can’t be negated. Slifer gains 1000 ATK/DEF points for every card in your hand. Opponents’ normal and special summoned monsters lose 200 ATK to Slifer. Overall, the deck uses token-generating effects to gather the three Tributes to summon Slifer. Also included is Slifer’s signature attack, the Thunderforce Attack card which can destroy all of an opponent’s face-up monsters at once. Thunderforce Attack also allows the player to draw a card for each monster destroyed. Soul  Crossing, a quick-play spell card is also included. Downsides with Slifer include the three Tribute requirement and its lack of protection.

A pendulum swings one way and then another, wouldn’t it be great to play a game in the same way? Being able to play as multiple forms with multiple abilities makes for some great game strategy. Order of the Spellcasters Deck adds such a multitudinous aspect to Yu-Go-Oh making for fun in many forms.
Order of the Spellcasters is a 42-card deck with two ultra-rare, three super-rare, and 37 common, with one extra deck card. This deck is all about Pendulum Monsters that support Spell Counters. Using the magical masters of the Order, you can turn yourself and play as a Pendulum Monster or a Spell. The abilities differ depending on which form you choose. The star of the show is Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic who can remove 6 Spell Counters from anywhere on your side of the field to Special Summon him from the Pendulum Zone. By doing so, you destroy cards on the field up to the number of cards you control that you can place Spell Counters on and then place Spell Counters on that card as a monster equal to the number of cards destroyed. That’s a mouthful, but it highlights the strength and versatility of this deck. The abilities of the Pendulum monsters are also a great way to build up your field.

Zombie Horde

Zombies! You can’t go wrong with zombies. What better way to use zombies than to draw your opponent in a world where zombies rule? And, zombies ruling is something we’re all afraid of, or should be. The Zombie Horde deck is the nightmare-inducing Yu-Gi-Oh deck of a zombie lover’s dreams.
Zombie Horde is a 42-card deck with two ultra-rare, three super-rare, and 37 common cards. Because a whole horde of zombies is better than one or two, this deck is focused on the Zombie World Field Spell that creates Duels where zombies rule supreme. With the spell activated, you can summon the deck’s head honcho, Doomking Balerdroch from the graveyard during the Standby Phase. Doomking is tough for opponents to deal with at Level 8 with 2800 ATK and 2000 DEF who can self-summon. With the spell in play, all monsters on the field of play or in the graveyard can be zombie-fied! In all, this deck is what zombies are all about, terrorizing and making more zombies. Think of yourself as a zombie mastermind with this deck. To utilize all that zombie goodness, the creepy and scary Zombie World has to be in play.

Albaz Strike

Beginners can sometimes find it difficult to get into a game like Yu-Gi-Oh. Though the game has simple overall rules, getting into the nuances of archetypes, abilities, spells, etc can seem a bit daunting. And, what’s worse, being a beginner probably means you’re going to start out with a lousy deck as well as strategy. Albaz Strike is a deck that is great for beginners because it is a powerful deck and its cards can be used in many other decks.
Albaz Strike is a 46-card deck including five ultra-rare, three super-rare, and 38 common cards. 5 of the cards are tokens. The foundation for the deck is Fallen of Albaz, a Dragon-type with a fusion summoning effect that allows him to absorb enemy monsters to transform. His power can be increased by other fusion forms. The supporting Dragons bring their own unique abilities in support of Albaz like Albion the Branded Dragon who can fusion summon another monster as it enters the game. There are also powerful Spells in the deck including Pot of Extravagance which allows you to banish cards from your extra deck to draw cards, and Dark Ruler No More, a great defensive card that negates the effect of all of your opponent’s monsters. To say Albaz Strike is generous with the supporting cast and Spells is really an understatement.

Soulburner Deck

If you’ve played Yu-Gi-Oh long enough, you’ve probably gotten used to underwhelming deck releases. It can be tiresome and expensive loading up on decks hoping to get useful cards. The Soulburner Deck is full of powerful cards making it ripe as a foundation for competition.
Soulburner is a deck of 41 cards including one ultra-rare, four super-rare, five normal parallel rare, and 31 common cards. Built around the Salamangreat archetype, which uses a reincarnation strategy. This is a FIRE attribute deck with Cyberse monsters forged from the hottest in the Yu-Gi-Oh world. Get ready to burn your opponents to a crisp. Salamangreats power up the boss monster by sending your first copy of a Salamangreat boss monster to the Graveyard in order to summon your second copy. And that second copy is granted an extra ability far beyond what it had in its first life. Talking about getting better with age, or in this case reincarnation. For a lot of these sorts of link monsters, a copy-replace stratagem won’t work unless the Salamangreat Sanctuary Field Spell is applied. What’s also unique about this deck is that the power-up pack is already weaved into the pack.

Let’s face it, when you play YuGiOh, just like any other game, you play to win. If you lose, you hope you enjoyed the ride. This deck brings together the Sacred Beasts: Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, and Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, and Raviel, Lord of Phantasms into one deck instead of each usually having to have other decks to support them. Also included is Armityle, a fusion of all three. Dueling dominance is the name of the game with Sacred Beasts as you can control multiple Sacred Beasts at the same time. Throw in the Trap Card when you control two or more and you can take care of the effects of your opponent’s monsters.
