Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom announced that she is pregnant with baby number 4. This will be her second child with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Chris Lopez. Kailyn was excited to share the happy news on her social media.
The Teen Mom star first shot to fame in MTV’s 16 and Pregnant which followed around young mothers who were dealing with their first pregnancy while in high school. She gave birth to her first child, Isaac Elliot Rivera. Later, Lowry married Javi Marroquin in 2012 and went through a long military deployment which caused the two to drift apart. In 2016, the couple called it quits but still shared custody of their six-year-old son, Lincoln. After the two filed for divorce, Lowry had a third child with a mystery man, Chris Lopez. Her youngest son, Lux Russell Lowry, is now two-years-old.
Teen Mom fans were in shock when they heard that Lowry was pregnant with her fourth child. The reality star will be expanding her family in 2020 as she took to her Instagram on Tuesday, February 4th to announce the exciting news. The expecting mother posted a picture of her and her three boys as her youngest holds up the sonogram photos. The caption explained she was already 16 weeks along in her pregnancy journey. The reality star even said that it had been a rough fourth pregnancy, she wrote, “I’ve had nausea, morning sickness, and absolutely no energy.” Check out the full pregnancy announcement below:
Lowry shared with her fans that recently she had started to feel better. The mother to be shared that she had felt lonely and isolated while trying to hide the secret from the public and media. The MTV star had been keeping her wits about her by staying in touch with other mothers via apps. The reality star shared that it was reassuring for her to know there were other women who were experiencing the same feelings. Lowry expressed how thankful she was to be able to lean on other women and have their support.
The Teen Mom has done a good job keeping her pregnancy news under wraps. The podcast host did announce that she will be planning to have a homebirth. Lowry has not said whether the new bundle of joy is a boy or a girl, but joked that she wouldn’t know what to do with a baby girl as she already has three boys.
