While several Teen Mom: The Next Chapter stars attended Cheyenne Floyd and Zach Davis’ wedding last month, Ashley Jones’ invitation was rescinded. Ashley, who replaced Chelsea DeBoer on Teen Mom 2, has been in several altercations since she first appeared on Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant. Cheyenne, on the other hand, was known to The Challenge viewers before she joined the Teen Mom OG cast in 2018. After they got engaged in April 2021, Cheyenne and Zach got married in a lavish ceremony on September 29.
While many of Cheyenne’s famous cast mates were there, Ashley, Amber Portwood, and Briana DeJesus were noticeably absent. Ashley had initially claimed that she missed the wedding because she was busy, but she recently admitted that Cheyenne revoked her invitation, and implied that the decision was because of her problems with their co-stars. “I already knew what it was when I got uninvited from the wedding,” Ashley told her sister, Chris, during an Instagram Live that was reshared by u/SitchChick. Ashley mentioned that while her co-stars call themselves a family (despite all the scandals that have rocked the Teen Mom franchise, on and off-camera), she doesn’t fit in, because everyone is too involved in her personal life. “I don’t adjust [her behavior] because if it don’t come correct, it’s not respected,” Ashley told Chris. “If you’re not in [the drama], shut your f***** mouth.”
Which Teen Mom Stars Were At Cheyenne Floyd’s Wedding?
Although Ashley, Briana, and Amber missed Cheyenne’s wedding, plenty of Teen Mom stars made the event. Maci Bookout McKinney and her husband Taylor McKinney were present, as were Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra. In addition to Jade Cline and her fiance, Sean Austin, Amber’s ex Gary Shirley, and Kiaya Elliott from Young And Pregnant, were also invited. Finally, several MTV crew members were in attendance, as well as former couple Leah Messer and Jaylan Mobley, who announced their split two weeks after Cheyenne and Zach’s nuptials.
Teen Mom Cast Members That Ashley Jones Has Feuded With
Ashley is no stranger to drama, and she routinely fought with her mother-in-law Shenandoah “Shen” Williams before and after her Young And Pregnant pregnancy. Since then, Ashley has feuded with multiple former and current Teen Mom stars, such as Jade, Amber, Briana, Jenelle Evans, and Kailyn Lowry. One of Ashley’s most recent fights occurred while the Teen Mom cast filmed the Teen Mom: Family Reunion season 2 spinoff in August. After a physical altercation between Ashley, Briana, and their mothers, all four women were sent home by MTV. In the online aftermath, Briana blamed her feud with Ashley, when she revealed Ashley’s then-unannounced pregnancy.
Since Ashley and Briana’s blowup happened shortly before Cheyenne and Zach’s wedding, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Ashley, who was accused of being the aggressor, was asked to skip the festivities. While Ashley has provided viewers with the entertainment that they crave since she joined the Teen Mom franchise, many fans have grown tired of her antics, and have asked MTV producers to fire her. Between Ashley’s reported arguments, and her problems with most of her cast mates, only time will tell how long she remains a part of the series.
