Teen Mom: Leah Messer Opens Up Following Her Split from Jason Jordan

Teen Mom: Leah Messer Opens Up Following Her Split from Jason Jordan

During a recent Instagram Q&A, Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer discussed whether or not she thinks love is in the cards for her after her 2019 breakup from Jason Jordan. Leah has had a rough road when it comes to love and romance. When Teen Mom fans first met Leah in season 1 of the show, she was engaged to her baby daddy Corey Simms. The two were very happy together, but after two admissions of cheating on Leah’s part, the relationship came to a messy end. It was clear that ending the marriage devastated them both, but it was hard for Corey to come back from and trust Leah after she cheated. They struggled for a while to get on the same page when it came to co-parenting, but the two have since found a way to meet eye to eye and are on much better terms.

Following her divorce from Corey, Leah’s next big relationship was with Jeremy Calvert. The couple got together two months after Leah filed for divorce from Corey. After only eight months of dating, the happy couple were married in April of 2012. Less than a year after their wedding, the Teen Mom pair welcomed their first child together (Leah’s third), a daughter named Adalynn. It wasn’t long before the fighting began, and fans began to see the cracks in their relationship. Leah was not happy with Jeremy’s work schedule, as he was away for long periods at a time. She felt that much of the burden of raising the kids was left on her shoulders. She was also battling an addiction at the time, which created a further divide. They divorced in 2015 after three years of marriage.

During a recent Q&A, Leah discussed another one of her famous relationships, and whether or not she thinks she’ll find love again after her break-up with Jason Jordan. As In Touch Weekly reports, Leah said she is trusting “divine timing” when it comes to finding love again. Finding a new partner is not the biggest priority in her life at the moment, so she isn’t stressing about when Mr. Right will come around. She says that whatever is meant to be will be, and when the time is right she will welcome someone new into her life with open arms. What she is focusing on right now is raising her three daughters to be the best women they can be.

In the past, she has talked about why she thinks her relationship with Jason didn’t exactly go the way she had hoped. In an episode of Teen Mom 2, Leah said she realized after a while that her heart was just not in it anymore and claims even the Teen Mom star’s daughters could recognize that. Leah claims their perspectives were different on a lot of topics, and they could not find a way to see things the way the other did, which made for a toxic connection. When Jason wanted to work on it, Leah was wise enough to recognize the toxicity of the relationship and decided to end it. She says she is in such a great place in her life now and won’t accept anyone in unless she feels he is the right person for her.

What fans of the show are really wondering is if there is any chance that Leah and Jeremy will get back together. Now that Leah is taking the approach of leaving things up to divine intervention, there is a higher likelihood that that could be a possibility. The Teen Mom pair has always gotten along great and have an amazing co-parenting relationship. They almost got back together a few years ago but decided not to jeopardize their co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter. Fans will just have to wait and see if sparks fly when Jeremy appears on Teen Mom 2 next.

Teen Mom 2 airs Tuesdays at 8pm on MTV.
