Teen Mom: Jenelle Evans Suing Blogger John Yates After Podcast Firing

Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans is getting ready to sue Instagram blogger Johnny Yates after he claimed she was fired from a podcast she was working on. Yates has found himself in hot water with another reality star before, and fans are wondering how this will pan out.

Evans first appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant – a show following the lives of teen moms during their pregnancies. Fans watched as she gave birth to her son Jace, but after a brief time, Evans’ mom ended up taking custody of her son. Evans has not had an easy rode, especially with her relationships. She is now married to David Eason and had their daughter, Ensley. She was fired from the MTV show after Eason shot the family dog, Nugget, after it allegedly bit Ensley. For many fans, it is hard to keep up with her struggles.

Now Evans will be back in court again after The Sun obtained court documents that showed Evans claimed “defendant Yates called Deavan Clegg” to tell her that the former MTV star was let go from the Girl S#!t Podcast. Evans and Clegg were meant to work on the podcast together, but the podcast announced Evans would be missing on the night of the premiere. Clegg then spoke out, saying she wasn’t aware of Evan’s troubled history.

According to the lawsuit, Clegg, who is chummy with Yates, told him that she was not familiar with Evan’s past issues. The documents then say that Yates told Clegg that it was mentioned to the podcast management team, which was enough information for Evans to be let go. Evans claims in the statement “affected Plaintiff Eason and her business opportunities because Defendant Yates made a false statement about Plaintiff’s business and prospective business.” The MTV star went on to allege that Yates spoke out about her on his YouTube and repeated false claims that the other influencers didn’t want to work with her. The court documents also showed Yates read a statement from Clegg saying she was not “about supporting anything related to Plaintiff Eason and her husband, David Eason due to their past and she would not work with Plaintiff Eason.”

Evans is not the only one suing the blogger, and she is asking for $75,000. Yates recently posted on his own Instagram about the lawsuit between. However, the personality didn’t say much and didn’t mention any of the details filed by Evans.
