Teen Mom: Farrah Abraham Reveals Where She Stands With Chrissy Teigen

Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham is speaking out about where she stands with Chrissy Teigen. Chrissy found herself in hot water after being accused of cyberbullying reality TV personality Courtney Stodden. Courtney first became known for marrying 50-year-old Doug Hutchison when they were 16, and Chrissy had a lot to say about that at the time. She tweeted about wishing Courtney would “take a dirt bath” and reportedly sent direct messages to Courtney telling them to kill themselves. After Courtney exposed the harassment, Chrissy tweeted an apology and issued a longer note via social media, but has still faced backlash and even stepped away from her voiceover role in Never Have I Ever season 2.

Farrah was also a target of Chrissy’s online harassment. She rose to fame on MTV shows 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, where she was constantly involved in controversies. She later began to work in adult films, which resulted in her getting fired from MTV. In 2013, Chrissy called Farrah a wh**e in a tweet at a time where Farrah said she was dealing with a lot of public shame for her choice to work in adult entertainment. Farrah labeled Chrissy a hypocrite and asked for an apology not only for herself but for her 12-year-old daughter Sophia, as well. By attacking her publicly, Farrah claims that Chrissy also hurt her daughter.

On an August 4 podcast episode of Just The Sip, hosted by Justin Sylvester, Farrah talked about where she is with Chrissy now. “I am always open to sitting with someone and apologizing, or confronting the situation and moving forward. Those things are hard. Those things are not easy,” Farrah said. She also spoke about how she wishes Chrissy would step up and be a better version of herself. “That’s a little bit of a let-down for me. If you’re going to say something one way, you need to apologize the same way. But I just know the longer somebody waits to do something, when they claim they’ve already done it…I don’t know what to tell you,” she said while also wishing the best for Chrissy’s marriage and family. Based on this, it seems like Farrah could be waiting for an apology for a while.

Farrah is now focusing on her daughter, Sophia, instead of the drama. However, she was called out in June for using her daughter for promotional ads on social media. In an Instagram Story, Sophia posted a photo of herself with what looked to be a joint but actually turned out to be a pregnancy test. This led to backlash among fans, who didn’t agree with the use of Farrah’s pre-teen daughter to promote pregnancy tests. Whatever your stance is on Farrah’s many controversies, it’s undeniable that she knows how to stay in the public eye.

While Chrissy has yet to apologize to Farrah, she has taken to Instagram to share her feelings about what it’s like to be canceled. Even though there has been a lot of backlash toward Chrissy’s resurfaced tweets, hopefully she will be able to take this time to reflect and apologize to the people she hurt. Whether or not the Teen Mom star is on her list, we’ll just have to wait and see.
