Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell just welcomed her fourth baby with husband Tyler Baltierra after the arrival of a rainbow daughter. Fans of the couple know Catelynn’s journey to become a mother again wasn’t easy. Catelynn and Tyler share daughters Carly, 11; Novalee, 6; and Vaeda, 2. Catelynn and Tyler were first introduced in the original season of 16 and Pregnant, where viewers saw the teen parents’ difficult decision to give baby Carly up for adoption. The famous Michigan mom went on to marry her high school sweetheart and start a family of their own.
Catelynn announced the couple was having a fourth baby in February with a post on social media of daughters Novalee and Vaeda wearing “big sister” T-shirts. She captioned the sweet picture, “Baby Baltierra coming soon,” and shared photos of her ultrasound and positive pregnancy test. Catelynn and Tyler suffered a miscarriage prior to getting pregnant again. Catelyn opened up on Facebook about her desire to have another baby in December 2020. “Is that too much to wish for/want?“ the star wrote. “I pray that the Lord will bless us with one more. If not, I am absolutely grateful for the three healthy, beautiful girls that we do have.” When Catelynn announced she and her husband were finally expecting again, the mom said her rainbow baby was “worth the storm.”
Tyler shared the first glimpse of the couple’s new baby in an Instagram Story, as reported by Us Weekly. “She’s here and she’s perfect!” the dad wrote in a video of the swaddled baby in her bassinet in the hospital. He added crying heart eyes and red rose emojis to the post. The day before, Catelynn let followers know her fourth daughter would arrive soon. “Baby R is on her way,” Catelynn wrote on Instagram, adding, “Send positive vibes.” The couple has not announced the name of their newest daughter yet.
Catelynn and Tyler were excited to add another baby girl to their family. They announced the sex of their baby in February with a confetti balloon gender reveal. “While we wanted a boy since this is our last, as long as she’s healthy though that’s really all that matters,” they said in an Instagram statement. The Teen Mom stars went on to confirm their fourth baby would be their final child but added, “We know one day we will have a grandson and adore him!”
The Baltierra family is overjoyed with their latest addition. Catelynn previously said she loved the bond between her daughters Novalee and Vaeda, so she is excited to add another sister to the mix. While Catelynn and Tyler settle into their new baby bliss, Teen Mom fans are patiently waiting for more photos and a name reveal for their fourth baby.
