Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is fed up with her ex Chris Lopez’s coparenting efforts and took to Instagram to share her feelings in a rant, calling her baby daddy a “part time babysitter.” Kailyn and Chris share two sons, Lux, 4, and Creed, 1, and seem to be unable to maintain a friendly relationship. Kailyn’s new series of posts about Chris is yet another day of addressing rumors about her and her former partner, who recently signed a contract to appear on the MTV series.
Earlier this week, Kailyn proclaimed she doesn’t “give one single f***” what Chris does in an Instagram Stories post, addressing rumors she was upset he cut a deal to be filmed for the upcoming season. Kailyn clarified on social media she had harsh feelings about the business deal on the end of MTV producers, who Kailyn felt slighted her by not giving her a head’s up about Chris’ involvement. While her previous post was nonchalant about her ex, a fiery Kailyn appeared in a new series of videos addressing Chris’ behavior as a parent directly.
Kailyn likened Chris to a part-time babysitter on her Instagram as part of a call for all 27 and 28-year-old fathers to “step up,” In Touch Weekly reports. Kailyn said she was tired of being accused of keeping her sons away from their fathers as a bitter baby mom. “When you don’t contribute financially in terms of school and doctor’s appointments, and you have no idea what the school schedule is, you don’t know when doctor’s appointments are, and when I’m telling you to your face when a doctor’s appointment is and you don’t show up and you literally text me saying that I didn’t write it down for you, that’s a problem,” Kailyn said of Chris. She then addressed her followers: “So, am I bitter or am I doing what I have to do for my children? You guys decide.”
Kailyn went on to say she told Chris their sons’ school tuition, not expecting to see the dollars, but for him to make a contribution to their schooling. “My kids are your little brothers,” Kailyn said. “That’s what they are. You become like a babysitter, part-time. And I shouldn’t see you in a shed on Instagram Live when you’re supposed to be taking care of my kids. So, I just can’t get behind that. If you want 50 percent, then you need to do 50 percent of the work. That means you call the school directly and get information, you call the doctors.” In response, Chris posted a quote to his Instagram Stories that read in part: “Don’t let bitter, unhappy people drag you down to their level.” Chris also stated in a later Instagram Live he was “done” talking about speaking about their drama.
Kailyn and Chris’ unpredictable relationship is a major part of the mother of four’s story on Teen Mom 2. While she’s worked out the coparenting gig with exes Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin, Kailyn and her most recent failed flame continue to bash one another in petty social media posts. Judging by this recent call-out, the star continues to have her hands full with four boys and an uncooperative father of her children.
