Teen Mom 2: Briana DeJesus Breaks Up with John Rodriguez Over Text

Briana DeJesus, of Teen Mom 2, broke up With John Rodriguez over a text message. It seems hard to please Briana has she has had three significant relationships fizzle out in her life. The relationship with John seemed to have the makings of a fairytale ending, but something about him did not sit well with the Florida native.

The Teen Mom 2 star has had her share of public breakups and is opening up about her most recent failed relationship with Rodriguez. When she stepped onto the Teen Mom scene, she was dating her oldest daughter’s father, Devoin Austin. Briana then moved on with Kailyn Lowry’s ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, which caused a rift between the mothers and a reunion like no other, even though the relationship was short-lived. Briana’s current relationship was with a city boy, but it sadly didn’t last.

In a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, fans watched as DeJesus wasted no time in ending her relationship with her New York City boyfriend. The whole season fans have watched as the reality star’s feelings started to wane for her love interest, finally ending it over a text message that read, “I’m not happy.” As the mother of two spoke to the cameras, she shared with fans that she told Rodriguez she was not in a rush for him to move to Florida anymore as she had just bought herself a home and did not want him to move in with her.

The couple’s communication seemed off as they hardly speak on the phone and rarely chat through text. She even admitted that when the two were together, there was no connection between them. The MTV personality knew she did not want to be with her boyfriend anymore, so she decided to just end it. As DeJesus began to type out her breakup message, her friend urged her to reconsider, but the Florida native was over it all and sent the breakup note. Not to be outdone, Rodriguez replied saying, “save it Bri, I already knew.”  Unsatisfied with his answer, DeJesus whines to her friend that she wished she could get more emotion out of him, but in the end, she got what she wanted.

Fans of the MTV show that follow the couple on social media were well aware that the two ended their relationship back in August. DeJesus blamed the breakup to having too much on her plate and needed to take time to focus on other ventures, like opening up her new spa. The reality star shared with fans that she felt bad that her relationship had come to an end, but wished Rodriguez nothing but the best for his future.

Teen Mom 2 airs Tuesdays at 8pm on MTV.
