T-Pain Starts His Own Religion In Crusader Kings 3 Game Pass Trailer

Rapper, singer and songwriter T-Pain starts his own religion in a hilarious Xbox Game Pass trailer for Crusader Kings 3. The beloved musician is well-known for hit singles like “Bartender” and “Buy U A Drank,” along with beloved features like Kanye West’s “Good Life” and Flo Rida’s “Low.” T-Pain is also well-known for his love for gaming, as demonstrated by an impressive Tekken cosplay at Dragon Con 2019 and an apparent interest in Crusader Kings 3.

T-Pain has left a notable mark on the music industry by popularizing the creative use of Auto-Tune, but gaming is another area of interest for the masterful musician. In 2019 T-Pain attended Dragon Con 2019, an annual convention that merges multiple different fantasy fandoms, while wearing an awe-inspiring cosplay of Leroy from the Tekken fighting game series. The rapper has also combined his passion for music and gaming in the creation of a heartwarming musical tribute to a truly wholesome game. The celebrity gamer is known for playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons with his wife, Amber Najm, and the T-Pain song “Nook’s Bells” pays tribute to Nintendo’s social simulator by calling out Tom Nook’s greed.

Crusader Kings 3 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on March 29, and YouTube channel ID@Xbox has celebrated through a hilarious trailer featuring T-Pain. The video sees the rapper rebrand himself as Emperor T-Pain the Devout and announce the establishment of his own religion. The regal rhymer gives a fraudulent history lesson, complete with infidelity, to explain the origins of his new religion. Aptly known as Bootyism, the unique belief system makes acts like adultery, hedonism and the practice witchcraft completely acceptable in T-Pain’s kingdom. Unfortunately the Bootyism Schism leads T-Pain to war with the Holy Roman Empire, but the singer seems more than capable of defending his legacy.

T-Pain often uses his platform to promote wholesome games, but he must occasionally fight back against toxic behavior. Last year T-Pain encountered racist Call of Duty players while streaming, leading the rapper to teach them a less. The pre-game lobby was filled with intense racial slurs from the enemy team, giving T-Pain the motivation to hunt them down and dominate them throughout the match. The songwriter became increasingly angry as he mowed down his racist opponents, leading to both a moral and competitive victory for his team.

Crusader Kings 3 allows players to create their own royal dynasty, and T-Pain’s creation of Bootyism proves the versatility of the role-playing game. The rapper’s love for gaming is well-known, and the official collaboration video is the perfect way to introduce the strategy game to Xbox Game Pass. While features like “Low” and “Good Life” are truly legendary, T-Pain’s greatest crossover may actually be with Crusader Kings 3.

Crusader Kings 3 is available on PC. It will release on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 on March 29.
