The iconic scene at Maddy’s birthday party sees the trio in a hot tub together, and after drinking all night long, Cassie literally becomes sick with guilt and throws up everywhere.

There was a lot of work that went behind that because Sam, of course, wanted it to be just projectile vomit everywhere. You just put it in your mouth, and then you hold it, and you puke it up. They had to get a pump, and they had this pipe that they taped and hid on my body and CGI’d it out, up my neck, and then there was a horse bit that I had to put in my mouth. And so during that scene, they’re filling my mouth with throwup. And then, I open up my mouth, and it just starts shooting out. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever experienced. You need the pump. It’s a very insane pump too. But the horse bit. I was like why do we need the horse bit? It was huge!
Everything We Know About Euphoria Season 3
The future of Euphoria is uncertain, despite season 3 being confirmed. The next season has an expected release date of 2025, leaving a three-year gap, and while filming was already delayed due to star Zendaya’s busy schedule, the 2023 SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes further pushed production back. Now, its own stars are questioning their future on the series. Recently, Jacob Elordi admitted to feeling uncertain about his future on the show, jokingly saying he might have to be digitally de-aged as by the time they begin filming, he will almost be in his thirties, despite playing a high school student.
However, taking time off could work to Euphoria’s advantage. Rumors have pointed to season 3 beginning after a time-jump. A time-jump would make sense, as audiences have pointed out that its stars already look older than their high school-aged characters. Plus, their high school lives have been explored to the fullest, and it could be time to move on to see what their lives look like outside their teenage years.
Still, taking time off has caused restlessness among audiences and the series could run into commitment issues from its stars. With Zendaya, Sweeney, and Elordi’s careers taking off over the last year, it will be difficult to find time to film among their busy schedules. Plus, with three years between seasons, the public could lose interest in the series, despite its popularity and cultural relevance.
