Superstore Duos Ranked From Worst To Best

Superstore Duos Ranked From Worst To Best

With a large ensemble comes a lot of potential and that’s the case with Superstore. There are many great characters and any of them could be paired together and still be highly entertaining. Some duos aren’t fond of each other, which is one of the many things that makes them so entertaining to watch.

On the other end of the spectrum, the friendships that develop between the employees of Cloud 9 are one of the show’s highlights and make Superstore more of a found family show than anything else. Whether these pairs are hostile, platonic, or romantic, viewers are more fond of some combinations than others.

Bo And Cheyenne

Superstore Duos Ranked From Worst To Best

Fans either hate Bo and Cheyenne or can’t get enough of them. There’s doesn’t seem to be any in-between. To some, they’re too over the top and annoying. Bo doesn’t have a great grasp of reality and cares more about having fun than being a parent to his newborn child.

Cheyenne is the more responsible of the two, but she often feeds into his nonsensical ideas. It’s what drew them together as a couple. They often end up getting themselves into trouble with no way out of it. These situations can either be hilarious or irritating.

Cheyenne And Amy

Amy pulls Cheyenne forward by the hand

Given that her mom was in jail, Cheyenne’s relationship with her parents was complicated. Amy was able to fill that void and gave Cheyenne someone she could talk to about anything. Being pregnant during high school wasn’t easy, and Amy was able to relate since she had her own child at 19.

She’s consistently looking out for her best interests and does her best to guide Cheyenne in the right direction. Cheyenne doesn’t always listen, but no teenager does. Their relationship doesn’t do much for the comedic side of things, but it does warm viewers’ hearts.

Sandra And Carol

Sandra and Carol have had the longest feud out of anyone in the store. Carol spread lies about Sandra, stole her boyfriend, and made it her mission to make her life miserable. She also kidnapped her cat and tried to drop it out of a window.

In return, Sandra left Carol to die in the middle of a tornado and, after she lived, admitted to spending a few weekends plotting her murder. Their chaos is wildly entertaining, and the antagonism between them doesn’t seem as though it’ll ever go away completely.

Jonah And Garrett

Jonah stands next to a sitting Garrett, both smiling

Jonah is a person who needs everyone to like him, while Garrett doesn’t care about what other people think. Pairing the two of them as best friends was a smart movie on Superstore’s part. Jonah needs constant validation that Garrett enjoys his friendship, and Garrett likes to take the opportunity to mess with him.

At the end of the day, Garrett loves Jonah and would do anything for him. But making fun of him will always be Garrett’s favorite pastime.

Garrett and Dina

This romance was one that no one saw coming. Garrett spent a large majority of his time complaining about Dina and seemed as though he couldn’t stand to be around her. But one day everything changed and something clicked into place between them.

The two are surprisingly great together, and it’s a dynamic that fans didn’t even know they needed. They’ve been off and on for seasons, and with the Superstore series finale premiering in March, viewers are hopeful that their relationship will finally stick.

Dina And Glenn

Dina talking to Glenn on Superstore

The power struggle between Dina and Glenn has always been a highlight of the series. Glenn is the general manager of Cloud 9, and Dina is right below him on the totem pole. They have very different ways of running things, but Dina is good at getting what she wants.

When they’re fighting it leads to a great plotline, and an episode that features them working together is just as good. Glenn and Dina care a lot about each other, it’s just buried under years of hostility.

Jonah And Marcus

Jonah and Marcus talk face to face in the store

Marcus’s obsession with Jonah is one of the best running gags of the show. For reasons unknown, Marcus latched onto Jonah and started treating him like his significant other. Marcus doesn’t understand that Jonah doesn’t want anything to do with him, since Marcus’s ridiculous personality is too over the top for most people to handle.

No matter how many times Jonah tries to ditch Marcus, he keeps on coming back for more. Superstore’s funniest moments often involve the two of them.

Dina and Amy

Dina and Amy sit cross-legged across from each other and hold hands

Dina doesn’t like to let people in, which is why she and Amy didn’t get along for the majority of their time at Cloud 9. When the show started, the two of them weren’t close despite working together for years. But they slowly came to depend on each other and Dina ended up becoming attaching to Amy.

There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her and she puts herself on the line when Amy needs her help. Dina and Amy becoming best friends was a surprising, but well-planned, twist.

Mateo And Cheyenne

Cheyenne And Mateo smile at each other.

Mateo and Cheyenne are the store’s signature duo. They’re attached at the hip, which works out perfectly since they’re at their best when they’re playing off of each other. They spend most of their time gossiping or spreading rumors about the other employees and it fuels many of the show’s storylines.

Their wit and their sass make them stand out from the other characters, and they have the ability to carry an entire series on their backs. Cheyenne and Mateo are quite literally platonic soulmates, and when Mateo was detained, Cheyenne’s reaction to being without him was heartbreaking.

Amy And Jonah

Amy and Jonah, or “Simmosa” as fans refer to them, is the relationship at the center of Superstore. The show is an ensemble, but the ever-evolving friendship between the two made the comedy stand out from its predecessors. They are arguably one of the best slow-burn relationships on television, and even when they weren’t together romantically, they remained the most entertaining duo of all.

Jonah’s carefree attitude mixed with Amy’s bleak outlook on the world created a dynamic like no other. She helped him grow and become someone he was proud of, and he helped her find the beauty in everyday life. Their adventures made the show more than a simple sitcom, and it sometimes felt as though Superstore was meant to be about Amy and Jonah’s love story.
