Super Mario Bros Movie’s Luma Sets Up Rosalina’s Appearance
Now that Super Mario Galaxy‘s Lumas can count as confirmed characters in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, they set up the appearance of Rosalina too. She debuted alongside the Lumas in the 2007 game and is in charge of protecting the cosmos. This includes becoming the Lumas’ adopted mother, which is why they refer to her as “mama” in the games. Rosalina’s connections to the Lumas also include her having a personal Luma, a blackish-brown one named Polari.
