Summer House: Mya Allen Slams Austen Kroll For Being ‘Chaotic’

Summer House season 6 introduced new cast member Mya Allen, and by the time she met Southern Charm star Austen Kroll, she couldn’t understand his appeal and the “chaotic” energy he brought into the house. Mya Allen was new on the Summer House scene, so she wasn’t a part of the Summer House-Southern Charm crossover series. Last year, the cast members of both Bravo franchises got together and rented a house in Vermont to film Winter House. During that time, Austen and fellow Summer House costars Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard were caught in a love triangle.

In a recent episode of Summer House, Austen came to the Hamptons to celebrate Lindsay’s 35th birthday. Upon Austen’s arrival, both Lindsay and Ciara claimed their stakes on him. Lindsay assumed Austen would be bunking with her in her room, but Ciara made it clear to Austen that he’d be sleeping by himself. When Lindsay accused Ciara of feeling threatened by her and Austen’s friendship, Austen chose to play both sides by flirting with the two women at the same time.

While speaking with ET, Mya gave her opinion on Austen’s appearance in Summer House. Mya shared, “I’ve just never seen someone that chaotic in my life. I was like, ‘We’re just giving this person this much space to basically tear down everything we’ve built up this summer?’ And then to meet him, I was like, ‘This is the guy? This is who we’re fighting about?’ I don’t even get it.” Mya criticized Austen for playing the game with two different women on the show that lived so closely together. As a result, Austen created a lot of conflict within the Hamptons’ house. “I’m cool if Austen never comes back to Summer House,” Mya declared.

Mya addressed the infamous fight between Ciara and Summer House star Danielle Olivera, which resulted in wine being thrown. In the Summer House trailer, Ciara and Danielle get into a heated argument that Austen’s visit had been building up to. Mya claimed Ciara and Danielle’s fight was one of the aftermaths of Austen’s love triangle, and it got so heated that production had to step in. Mya, who was nearby, was caught in the crossfire. She said, “I stepped in the glass right after trying to exit the scene and I’m like, ‘Why do I have a cut on my foot?’” Ciara, who was accused of being boring, took it to the next level by throwing wine at Danielle.

The cast of Summer House now refers to that incident as “The Red Dinner” – a nod to Game of Thrones. Despite that unfortunate night, Mya said that they had a “really good summer.” Mya joked that the cast couldn’t get through a meal without fighting while filming. Now that it’s over, however, she misses their dynamic. When asked if she would return for Summer House season 7, Mya declared that she can’t say for sure but would consider it.
