Mya Allen is one of the new cast members joining Summer House season 6, and she has quite a captivating background. Besides Mya joining the cast, there are a couple of more newcomers entering The Hamptons home for a few months. Andrea Denver, who appeared on Winter House, will be a part of the gang this year, as well as newcomer Alex Wach. With new faces added to the mix, there is bound to be more drama than the last season.
Last year, the crew spent their summer quarantined in The Hampton’s together for a whole month. Not only did tensions brew between the housemates, but there were also some interesting love triangles going on. Despite former fan-favorite Hannah Berner exiting the series after season 5 came to an end, the new season is already creating quite the buzz.
According to her new bio on BravoTV, Mya, who will be in the summer house with Luke Gulbranson, is a restaurant consultant who runs a cookie business on the side in New York City. She lived in Washington D.C. prior to NYC, where she worked on the corporate side of several of the food and beverage industry (via Mya’s LinkedIn). Mya seemingly quit her last full-time contract position in July before taking her current roles. She currently freelances as a private chief with WoodSpoon, a company that makes carefully crafted homemade food that is delivered straight to one’s door. When Mya isn’t cooking up some delicious homemade meals, she’s working on her cookie side business, The Knead. Her company delivers freshly homemade cookies that can easily be ordered online in singles or batches.
Mya, who will be on Summer House with Lindsay Hubbard, was inspired to create her sweet business after starting her company as a blog in January 2020. Similar to many people during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mya decided to really launch her business into something more. Other than her bustling career, Mya is beginning a whole new chapter in her personal life. During the quarantine, the chef realized she was no longer in love with her long-term fiancée and broke off their engagement. Now that Mya is finally single, she decided it was time to have a little fun. Mya will be joining her friend Paige DeSorbo on Summer House for a summer she will never forget. Mya plans on taking her time when finding her perfect match and plans to have fun and let loose instead of settling down.
With new Summer House castmates, that only means more drama will ensue. Will Mya find love with one of the guys in the house, or will she cause some drama with one of the ladies? Viewers will have to wait and see for the season 6 premiere on January 17, 2022.
