Suits L.A. has brought a new cast member into the fold. The upcoming spinoff pilot, which is set in the same universe as the hit USA Network legal drama Suits, stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, who has moved from New York City to Los Angeles, where, to his chagrin, he must undertake a more important position at his firm Black Lane Law. The ensemble cast of the pilot also includes Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, Alice Lee, and Troy Winbush.
Per Deadline, the Suits L.A. spinoff is rounding out its cast with a star from an iconic teen drama. Bryan Greenberg has joined the show as a series regular. The star, who played the recurring character of teen dad and basketball player Jake Jagielski on the first three seasons of One Tree Hill, will play Rick Dodsen, a protege of Ted Black’s. Dodsen is gunning for a promotion at the Black Lane firm, so he has an adversarial relationship with Davis’ character Erica Rollins.
