Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 has wrapped production on episode 2, and director Jordan Canning shares behind-the-scenes set pics of the Starship Enterprise. Strange New Worlds season 3 began production in December 2023 with producing director Chris Fisher helming the season 3 premiere which resolves Strange New Worlds season 2’s finale cliffhanger involving the Gorn. Jordan Canning then took over the director’s chair in early January 2024 for Strange New Worlds 302.
On her Instagram, director Jordan Canning @jjhcanning shared a pic of herself sitting in the USS Enterprise’s Captain’s chair announcing Strange New Worlds season 3, episode 2 has wrapped filming. Canning previously directed the Vulcan comedy of manners, Strange New Worlds season 2, episode 5, “Charades,” which Rolling Stone named one of the best TV episodes of 2023. Check out her photo below:
