Stardew Valley Player Fills Cellar with Ancient Fruit Wine

Stardew Valley fans will always find a way to make the most in-game currency as possible and one clever player decided to line their entire basement floor with Ancient Fruit Wine Casks. Stardew Valley, created and developed by ConcernedApe, has been a major fan-favorite game since 2016. There are many different ways to make money in Stardew Valley, crops being the main source of income, but players continue to find innovative ways to capitalize on their farms.

Stardew Valley is a simulation game where players have inherited their grandfather’s farm and are tasked with taking care of it. As players learn early on there is more to the game than just farming. There are many villagers that players can interact with and even gain relationships with. Once the basics of farming are completed players can level up and learn how to create casks and kegs to make wine and beer, which can be sold for a decent amount of G (in-game currency). In Stardew Valley, Ancient Fruit is extremely rare and it grows from Ancient Seed. Players might find these in a myriad of different places, such as monster drops or while fishing, but they usually have a rare drop rate. Once the seed is planted the fruit takes about 28 days but then continues to re-grow every seven days. These fruits are a great way to make G and usually, players will turn them into wine or jam.

Reddit user NonchalantWombat shared their clever way of turning Ancient Fruit into a lot of G with the Stardew Valley subreddit and commenters were impressed. NonchalantWombat mentioned that they had 189 casks lining their basement floor and also did a bit of math to explain how much the lot would go for. In the game, Ancient Fruit Wine will sell for 1650G base level and 2310G if the player has the artisan perk. If the wine is of the highest quality, the amount can be as much as 4620G, which is a lot of money in Stardew Valley. With NonchalantWombat’s calculations, they estimate they will be pulling in about 873,180G in 56 days. This amount of G will be able to afford them any in-game item or upgrade to their farm that they wish to do.

Now… I hibernate. Every barrel freshly filled with Ancient Fruit Wine. This is my endgame. from StardewValley

Many players will take a while to get to the level of sustainability that players like NonchalantWombat experience. Sometimes players might be struggling to learn the basics of farming or fishing, but if they continue to play they will eventually be able to craft and build a money-making machine like the Ancient Fruit Wine casks.

The world of Stardew Valley will continue to be a place where players can go and live out their farming simulator and billionaire dreams. With ConcernedApe’s newest title Haunted Chocolatier on the way, fans of cozy titles and Stardew Valley will have an exciting amount of new content to look forward to.
