Star Wars Celebration 2023 Date & Location Revealed

The Star Wars Celebration 2023 date and location have been announced. Originally, Lucasfilm held the Star Wars Celebration in Denver, Colorado to celebrate the release of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace in 1999. Since then the event has been used to announce new Star Wars projects, as well as gather Star Wars fans from all over the world. The conventions have been held in various cities across the United States and in the UK, Germany, and Japan.This year’s Star Wars Celebration took place in Anaheim, California from May 26-29. The fourteenth Star Wars Celebration was originally scheduled to take place in 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event had to be cancelled for that year. Instead, the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim was rescheduled to 2022, and Star Wars fans could finally gather again to share their love for the franchise. The event is heading back across the Atlantic and will take place at ExCel Exhibition Centre in London. The convention will span four days, from April 7-10. The Mando+ panel saw Jon Favreau and Filoni tease The Mandalorian season 3 and the spinoff series Ahsoka, which is set to be released in 2023 and will feature characters from the animated Star Wars: Rebels. Also releasing in 2023 will be Star Wars: Visions season 2, the franchise’s anime anthology series, and an animated series aimed at younger viewers titled Young Jedi Adventures. These series are only a fraction of those announced.While Star Wars fans reluctantly had to go without a celebration in 2020 and 2021, luckily the next Star Wars convention is less than a year away. Fans can fill the time in between with this year’s new releases, like the currently streaming Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries or the soon-arriving Andor.
