Netflix has announced a December 2023 release date for Star Trek: Prodigy season 1. The beloved all-audiences animated series was canceled by Paramount+ in June, but a dedicated fan campaign rallied to save Star Trek: Prodigy and secure the show a new streaming home. In October, Star Trek: Prodigy’s producers Kevin and Dan Hageman, along with Star Trek producer Alex Kurtzman, announced that thanks to the fan support, Netflix will host Star Trek: Prodigy and stream all episodes of seasons 1 and 2.
On Twitter/X, Netflix Geeked announced Star Trek: Prodigy season 1 will premiere on December 25, 2023, with all 20 season 1 episodes dropping at the same time on Netflix. Check out the post, which was shared by Star Trek: Prodigy executive producer Aaron J. Waltke, below:
