Southern Charm season 9 is introducing some brand-new Charmers to the cast, including Jarrett “JT” Thomas. One of the most underrated reality TV series on Bravo, Southern Charm has had a revolving door of cast members since its debut, adding and removing people to keep things fresh. While there are some Southern Charm cast members who are staples of the series like Shep Rose, others add their drama to the story for just a season or two before moving on. Typically, Southern Charm cast members have some sort of involvement with the cast prior to their time on the series.
For JT, he’s been friends with his fellow Southern Charm cast members like Craig Conover for years. While he hasn’t been a part of the show, he’s been a part of the larger group for a long time and is just stepping into the series after some thought and consideration. For JT, the drama of the south is second nature, and his time on Southern Charm season 9 will likely be filled with a huge amount of drama between his fellow Charmers. JT’s Age
Most of the cast of the series vary in age, but nearly all the Charmers at this point are over 30. Though Southern Charm covers interpersonal drama that can sometimes seem like it’s meant for a younger group of people, JT will fit right into the cast when it comes to his age. JT is currently 38 years old, making him around the average age of the rest of the guys on Southern Charm.
JT’s Job
Like the rest of the cast of Southern Charm, JT’s professional situation is an interesting amalgamation of things. Coming from some family money like many of his fellow Charmers, JT has made his career in a growing space. He works in real estate, specifically in vacation rental homes, both selling properties and managing them himself. JT has properties around the south, including in Charleston, South Carolina where Southern Charm takes place. JT is the founder of The Inns, a string of luxury vacation rentals in Charleston.
JT’s Instagram
JT is a personable guy who often shares about his life on social media. Though he’s new to Charleston, he’s already managed to figure out how to have a great time wherever he goes and often documents it on his Instagram. With posts about his friends as well as posts about his business, JT’s social media is a great snapshot of what’s happening in his life. JT’s Hometown
Though JT is well-versed in the Charleston scene, he isn’t actually from the area at all. The Southern Charm season 9 newbie JT comes from Virginia, though he’s traveled a lot throughout his adult life. Though he’s a transplant from outside South Carolina, JT fits right in with the Southern Charm family and will be an interesting addition to the upcoming season.
