The English voice cast for Solo Leveling has been announced. The listing includes actors with projects anime fans will recognize. The highly anticipated series has already begun releasing as a sub, while the dub is set to release in the third weekend of January. Solo Leveling is based on a South Korean web novel that released in 2016, which was adapted into a webcomic.
Solo Leveling was created by Chugong. The anime is produced by A-1 Pictures, which is known for several series, including Black Butler, Fairy Tail, and Sword Art Online. Motion graphics for the series are provided by Production I.G., which worked on Attack on Titan and Haikyu!!.
The series is being directed by Shunsuke Nakashige, who is known for directing Sword Art Online. The music for the series is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, an award-winning composer who provided scores for Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, The Seven Deadly Sins, and several Mobile Suit Gundam projects.

The English voice cast includes Aleks Le, Justin Briner, Rebecca Wang, Michelle Rojas, Ian Sinclair, Christopher R. Sabat, Kent Williams, SungWon Cho, and Dani Chambers. Aleks Le is in the lead role of Sung Jinwoo. He is currently known for his work on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s English dub as Zenitsu. Justin Briner is the voice of Deku in My Hero Academia and in Solo Leveling will voice Yoo Jinho. Cast members for Solo Leveling have also worked on One Piece, Dragon Ball Super, Assassination Classroom, Darling in the Franxx, Ranking of Kings, Vinland Saga, and Fruits Basket. With the introduction of the main plot now over, Solo Leveling’s third episode will be the beginning of Sung Jinwoo’s epic adventure.
Will Crunchyroll’s Early 2024 Release Be Worth the Wait?
After being announced with a 2023 release, Solo Leveling faced delays, pushing its release to January 2024. In spite of this, it has garnered major attention and has been highly anticipated. The series features an opening theme performed by TOMORROW X TOGETHER alongside the series’ composer. The ending theme is performed by krage. This will be Aleks Le’s biggest role yet, as he takes the lead on the weakest hunter who rises thanks to his new special ability.
Solo Leveling will release its English dub on January 20, at 1PM PST on Crunchyroll.
