Snowpiercer season 4 now officially has a new home following its surprise cancellation. The show first aired on TNT in 2020, serving as a TV adaptation of the graphic novel series by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette’s and Bong Joon Ho’s 2013 film of the same name starring Chris Evans. Snowpiercer was given the green light for season 4, which would be its last, but an announcement in January 2023 confirmed the new season wouldn’t actually air on TNT after all.
Now, The Wrap confirms that Snowpiercer season 4 will air on AMC and AMC Plus in early 2025. AMC acquired the U.S. linear and streaming rights to all four seasons, and seasons 1 to 3 will become available to stream on AMC Plus later in the year. No firm dates yet have been provided for either season 4’s release or for when earlier seasons will become available for streaming.

In Snowpiercer, an apocalyptic event has happened and caused the Earth to become a frozen icescape. In this new world, a large train known as Snowpiercer houses survivors and perpetually rolls along its track. The series follows a man named Layton as he begins to investigate a mysterious murder in the First Class section of the train.
