The Book of Love” is arguably one of Skyrim‘s cutest, most feel-good quests, and it happens to come with the added bonus of a great reward. Players can begin the quest by journeying to the Temple of Mara in Riften, where a priestess will give the player some love-themed tasks to earn Mara’s favor. These include things like helping a man woo his love with poetry, and even helping two deceased lovers communicate.

Players will earn Skyrim‘s Amulet of Mara in the last part of the quest, which by itself is quite useful as it allows players to propose to some in-game characters. While this can be acquired elsewhere, this is one of the easiest ways to get it for free. However, the best reward comes once everything is complete: the Agent of Mara, a blessing that offers the Dragonborn a permanent 15% magic resistance.

A Night to Remember” is a Skyrim quest that feels like an homage to The Hangover, where players must retrace their steps after a wild night. The quest can be encountered in any tavern after players reach level 14 when they find a man named Sam Guevenne. Sam will challenge players to a drinking contest that will set them off on a hilarious quest for redemption for their actions the next day. This is one of Skyrim‘s best Daedric quests, and ends with players receiving the Sanguine Rose staff, an incredibly powerful weapon that can summon a Dremora to fight alongside the Dragonborn temporarily.

No Stone Unturned Is A Long But Worthwhile Skyrim Quest

No Stone Unturned” is definitely one of the most time-consuming quests that can be found in Skyrim, but once completed the reward that’s given makes all the player’s work worthwhile. In order for the quest to be done, players must be a member of the Thieves Guild. The quest will trigger after players find any rare gem while out exploring, and once players talk to Vex in The Ragged Flagon, they’ll learn what they found is one of 25 stones that have been stolen from Queen Barenziah’s crown and left all around Skyrim.

Players will be tasked with finding the remaining 24 stones in order to claim their reward, which can be quite an involved process. However, out of every pro and con of joining Skyrim‘s Thieves Guild, access to this quest and its subsequent reward is one of the biggest advantages. Once completed, the Dragonborn will gain the ability Prowler’s Profit, which greatly raises the probability of finding precious gems throughout the world. These can not only be used for various crafting and quests, but to make an extreme amount of profit as well.

The Mind Of Madness Is Weird & Rewarding In Skyrim

The Mind of Madness” is one of the strangest, most unique quests that can be found in Skyrim. It’s an incredibly surreal journey that begins with a man in Solitude requesting the Dragonborn’s help in tracking down his master, Sheogarath. To find him, players must travel inside the mind of Pelagius, where they must cure Pelagius’ various psychological problems in order of Sheogarath to leave. Fittingly, this quest comes with one of the game’s weirdest weapons – completing it is how players get the Wabbajack in Skyrim, a powerful staff that casts completely random magic spells, often with hilarious results.

The Only Cure Grants A Strong Skyrim Shield

The Only Cure” is another Daedric questline that involves players following the orders of Peryite. The quest can be started at the Shrine to Peryite, where players will meet Kesh the Clean, who will help them communicate with Peryite after some ingredient gathering. Peryite will request the Dragonborn kill a follower who has betrayed him, for which they will be rewarded with the Spellbreaker Shield. This is one of the strongest shields in Skyrim, as it’s enchanted with 50 points of magic resistance, which is enough to completely negate a dragon’s fire breathing and makes the shield incredibly valuable for dragon fights.

Lost To The Ages Has Three Potential Skyrim Rewards

For this side quest, players will need to begin Skyrim‘s Dawnguard DLC. However, it’s not part of the expansion’s main questline. It’s triggered by finding a book called The Aetherium Wars, which will lead players on a long and satisfying journey full of lore. It’s centered around the search for the Aetherium Forge, which is what eventually lets players claim one of three worthwhile rewards.

They can choose from the Aetherial Crown, which allows players to use two Standing Stone perks instead of one, the Aetherial Shield, which briefly makes enemies ethereal – meaning they can’t harm the player – and causes them to flee, or the Aetherial Staff, which allows for the temporary summoning of a Dwarven Spider Guardian or Dwarven Sphere Guardian. In many ways, this side quest is more fun than Skryim‘s main questline, weaving an interesting narrative and including unique enemies. While it’s unfortunate players can only choose one of the three Aetherial items, they can all be incredibly useful in their own way.

Although fans are no doubt more than ready for the next entry in the Elder Scrolls franchise, Skyrim continues to be a source of entertainment for many players over a decade later. With so many quests and interesting characters, even seasoned veterans are still learning things about the title to this day. These quests are great ways to get useful items and permanent abilities that will improve any Skyrim player’s overall run.
