Kody Brown is playing the victim again, and Sister Wives viewers are surprised that the father of 18 felt like he was stabbed in the back by Christine Brown. The two ended their 25-year marriage in November 2021. Now, fans have front-row seats, in terms of being able to watch both parties deal with the breakup.
In another soliloquy by Kody, during a recent Sister Wives episode, he shared how he felt Christine had put a, “knife into his kidneys” with her decision to move back to Utah. Tensions boiled over during another Brown family discussion, when Kody also called Christine out for treating Robyn Brown like, “dirt.” After Christine retorted that his favoritism towards Robyn was the straw that broke the camel’s back, Kody seemed to become angrier. His frustrations finally boiled over, with him yelling that he had made multiple sacrifices in order to love her.
Kody Brown Wants Christine To Take Accountability
Kody continued his rant in front of all four of his spouses, sharing that he had only ever asked for some accountability. The father of 18 screamed at Christine for turning her back on the marriage, noting that plural marriage is a, “higher calling.” It didn’t go unnoticed that Kody was extremely defensive about Robyn and how she had been treated. This definitely solidified the fact that his fourth wife is the one that he cares about the most.
For weeks, Sister Wives fans have watched Kody, noticing how angry the famous patriarch gets when he tried to come to terms with his new situation i.e. having three wives instead of four. While most fans do not empathize with him, some have questioned if Christine’s move to divorce him came out of the blue. Kody seemed to believe that there were chances to work on their relationship, and during some conversations, he even seemed to be willing to fight for his marriage. In the end, Christine revealed that she had to choose her children and support them, noting that they had no relationship with their father.
While Christine is the only confirmed Sister Wives spouse to have left Kody, recent news broke that Janelle Brown has also left the polygamous family. Gwendlyn Brown, Kody and Christine’s daughter, went live on TikTok, and accidentally revealed that Kody’s second wife had followed in her mother’s footsteps. A source also revealed that Janelle saw how well Christine was doing on her own, and realized that she could do the same. Even though the mother of six has yet to confirm the news herself, fans are hoping that the next season shares Janelle’s departure story. Needless to say, if the rumors are true, Kody will have an extremely hard time acknowledging his feelings.
