To the dismay of many Sister Wives viewers, it’s being reported that Kody Brown is seriously looking into adding a new wife to the Brown family. The father of 18 has struggled with the fact that three out of his four wives have left him high and dry. However, it is clear that the patriarch still wants a plural marriage to work.
It seems heartbreak is just what Kody needed to get himself back in the game, as In Touch confirmed that the Sister Wives star is currently searching for prospective wives. A source close to the polygamous family shared that Kody is “definitely actively looking” to bring in another woman. Even though Kody was caught questioning his lifestyle on Sister Wives, the source doubled down, noting Kody is a “proud polygamist” who is accustomed to that lifestyle. It appears Kody will not be happy with a monogamous marriage, as Robyn Brown is his only remaining wife.

The inside information from In Touch is revealing since many Sister Wives fans thought Kody would be happy with just Robyn in his life. The informant revealed that while Kody may not be able to woo a modern-day woman, plenty of single women would “jump” at the chance to be his wife within his own community. It seems like Robyn is on board with Kody getting back out into the courting world. During a Sister Wives episode that aired in January 2021, Robyn hinted that she had men vying for her affection, but she wanted to live a plural life.
Kody is now down to one wife, as it was revealed that Janelle and Meri Brown have also had enough of Kody’s drama. During the Sister Wives tell-all reunion, Janelle revealed that she had been separated from Kody for months. The mother of six became fed up with Kody’s strict rules and inability to make up with their sons. Sadly, Meri was hoping to reconcile, but Kody was the one that decided he wanted to be done with the marriage.
Sister Wives fans continue to question who in their right mind would want to date, let alone marry, Kody, especially after seeing how he acted during the latest season. While there is always someone out there ready to take the bait, Sister Wives viewers hope Kody doesn’t rush into anything. The father of 18 is still dealing with the fallout with most of his adult children and should concentrate on mending his broken relationships instead of trying to start a new one.
