Janelle Brown has had quite the year on Sister Wives and the mother of six posted several memorable pictures in 2022. Janelle has been struggling with her marriage to Kody Brown, especially after her best friend and sister wife, Christine Brown, filed for divorce. With the year almost over, Janelle is very much looking forward to putting the ordeal behind her.
As Sister Wives fans know, Janelle has always been the voice of reason within the group. She has kept Kody’s ambitions from running out of control for years. But this year took a toll on Janelle, as she finally found her voice to tell her husband that she was tired of waiting and wanted her own home. While Kody seemed to be bringing her down, other parts of her life started to pick up once she realized she could also thrive away from the patriarch.
Janelle Reconnects With Her Sister
At the beginning of the year, Janelle revealed to Sister Wives fans that she had won a trip to Lisbon, Portugal, and decided to take her sister along for the ride. The two women spent time laughing as they toured the city and went on several exciting adventures. This vacation marked the first international trip for Janelle since 1987, as she was focused on work ever since she married Kody.
Janelle Gets Quality Time With Kids
During the spring before the peak heat in Flagstaff, AZ, Janelle shared a family snap of her and a few of her children taking a hike at Tonto Natural Bridge. She stood with her daughter, Savanah Brown, and sons, Garrison and Gabe Brown. Everyone looked thrilled to be getting outdoors after a long isolation period for COVID-19. Kody was not pictured and was presumably home with his favorite wife, Robyn Brown.
Janelle Has Never Looked Happier
This fall, Janelle celebrated multiple family milestones, as her son Gabe turned 21, and her oldest son, Logan, married his longtime girlfriend, Michelle Petty. The Sister Wives star has also dropped 100 lbs and has never looked or felt better. Viewers recently watched as Janelle stood up to Kody and said he did not take her needs seriously enough. After she saw how he treated his remaining spouses, she left Kody and is ready for a new chapter in her life. Janelle captured the key moments of her monumental year with fans, showing off her personal growth and much-needed family time.
