A skilled player of The Sims 4 has recreated classic 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air within the game, not just making highly detailed Sim versions of the characters, but also replicating their famous Bel-Air mansion. The Sims 4 allows for a lot of creative freedom when it comes to character and home design, making Sims recreations of movies, TV shows, and celebrities common within the Sims 4 community.
The Sims 4 offers some of the deepest customization seen in the life simulation franchise to date, but the use of custom content and mods is where players can truly get creative with their in-game builds and designs. Fan-made custom content widens the pool of available options for Sims creators, introducing everything from new clothing items to more detailed hairpieces. Many Sims recreations, including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air build, couldn’t be as accurate only using the customization options from the vanilla version of The Sims 4, with lots of unique builds and celebrity Sims characters only made possible through custom content.
Sims 4 fan Pausablecelery has shared their incredible The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air recreation to Reddit through a series of screenshots that wouldn’t look out of place in the sitcom. As well as creating character-accurate Sim versions of Will Smith, Hilary, Carlton, Ashley, Geoffrey, Jazz, Uncle Phil, and Aunt Viv, Pausablecelery even seems to have their personalities locked down too. Images of Uncle Phil shouting at Will highlight his fiery disposition, while Jazz and Will shaking hands suggests a scheme might be afoot. The Bel-Air mansion build is also accurate to the show, with rooms including the famous kitchen and living room shown off in the set of images.

Thanks to Sims 4 expansion packs such as the Star Wars-themed Journey to Batuu, players can even take the Banks family to a galaxy far, far away, or turn their Bel-Air mansion into a farming haven with the latest expansion, The Sims 4 Cottage Living.
