She-Hulk Release Date Listed By TV App (But Is It Real?)

An app has listed a premiere date for She-Hulk, and there is a chance it could be real. Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema in 1980, She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters, is the cousin of Bruce Banner, aka the Incredible Hulk, who undergoes a similar transformation but maintains more control over her other half. The character has been a popular mainstay of the Marvel Universe and has been a member of The Avengers, The Fantastic 4, Heroes for Hire, and more.

The character is set to get her own Disney+ series set with Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany in the title role, with Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as the Hulk in the series. Unlike past Disney+ series like WandaVision or Loki, She-Hulk will be the second series focused on a new hero in the MCU after Moon Knight. She-Hulk is pitched as a comedic series, as the first glimpse of the series on Disney+ Day showed a riff on the 1970s The Incredible Hulk opening credits.

According to the app TV Time, She-Hulk is currently listed on the service, with the first episode titled ‘The Rules Don’t Apply’ slated for June 10, 2022. The app allows viewers to keep track of what they are watching, similar to the app Letterboxd for films. Screen Rant has reached out to Disney for comment but hasn’t heard back as of publishing this article. Screenshots of the app listing for She-Hulk can be listed below.

The June 10 release is one day after the year anniversary of the premiere of Loki, which so far has been the biggest hit of the Disney+ Marvel shows in terms of viewers. Moon Knight premiers on March 30, 2022, and will run for six episodes, where it is expected to conclude on May 4, 2022, leaving a month gap between the two MCU projects. The June premiere date also puts She-Hulk right between the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 6, 2022, and Thor: Love and Thunder on July 8, 2022.

However, it should be noted that June 10 lands on a Friday, where Disney+ has moved the premiere of their series to Wednesday after the success of Loki. This could indicate the date is fake, but Obi-Wan Kenobi is now set to premiere on May 25, 2022, and that series is set to run until June 29, 2022. Disney may not want to have a Marvel and Star Wars series running simultaneously, so they may spread them out over the week.

Similar to WandaVision and What If…?, She-Hulk will be a half-hour series and will consist of ten episodes, as both those series were originally intended before COVID-19 delays and cuts caused them to be shortened their episode count to nine. If She-Hulk premiers on June 10 and does not air the first two-episode at the start like WandaVision, the series will conclude on August 12, 2022, which will likely lead to the premiere of Ms. Marvel. While it is still early, Disney will probably confirm a premiere date for She-Hulk soon as the summer approaches.
