Mutant Mayhem was a critical success, earning a 97% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, and a 90% audience score. While the film only grossed $138 million dollars worldwide after four weeks due to its release putting it up against juggernauts Barbie and Oppenheimer, Paramount Pictures has shown great faith in the talent behind the story. There is already a sequel planned, along with two seasons of a television show.

This year has been an exciting year for Paramount Pictures, both in theaters and on the small screen. March saw the release of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, a tale set in the fantasy world of Faerûn, a comedic take on the popular role-playing game where Chris Pine leads a team of thieves and magicians in his quest to win back his daughter and stop an evil cult from enslaving the population. In July, the Mission Impossible franchise returned in a dramatic fashion as Tom Cruise reprised the role of Ethan Hunt in the 7th entry into the franchise, and the first of a two-part story that will be continued in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 2 in July 2024. One of the biggest Paramount franchises, Star Trek, saw the final season of Star Trek: Picard conclude with rave reviews from both critics and fans alike, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds danced to its finale in a well-received musical episode.

From Paramount Home Entertainment, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be available on PVOD on September 1, 2023. All bonus features will be available with a digital purchase.
