Brandi Marshall stars in Selling The OC season 2, and it’s time to talk about her husband Sean Marshall’s pro basketball career. In the new season of the Selling Sunset spinoff, Oppenheim Group realtors (including Brandi) sell glitzy properties in sun-soaked Newport Beach, California. Sean’s been spotted onscreen, mostly in the background, and there are plenty of interesting things to learn about the former pro athlete. He’s currently running his own sports-themed company, Pro’s Vision.
Brandi’s not the most scandalous member of the Selling The OC season 2 cast, as she and Sean are very focused on raising their two kids. The most controversial cast member is definitely Tyler Stanaland, whose divorce with John Tucker Must Die actress Brittany Snow’s making headlines. Tyler got quite flirty with other cast members onscreen – there were cheating rumors about him and costar, Alex Hall, and he shared a kiss with Polly Brindle. However, there are still plenty of fascinating facts to learn about Brandi and Selling The OC‘s Sean Marshall.
Sean Was A Co-Captain At Boston College
In his college days, Sean played for the Boston College men’s basketball team. He was a co-captain. His hometown is Rialto, California, but he pursued higher education in New England. While he was attending college, the 6 foot 5 inch man weighed 212 pounds. After college, he went pro, traveling all over the globe to play for a host of international teams. In Sean’s Instagram post from September 21, 2020, he reminisced, sharing valuable insights about his sports career. He said that he used to think that he’d play, “forever.” However, Sean, then, 35, eventually ended his basketball career with 13 seasons, “under my belt.”
Since he was seven years old, he’s been playing basketball, and he still loves the game. He’s all about his marriage, his Christian faith, his kids, and his passion for, “hooping.” Based on his IG post, he’s got a bright and positive spirit, so it’s not a surprise that ace real estate agent and girl scout mom Brandi fell in love with him. Sean seems very grateful for all of his experiences, just like Brandi is.
What About Sean Marshall’s International Basketball Career?
Unfortunately, Sean wasn’t picked during the 2007 NBA draft. That was probably a tough blow for him, but he might have seen it coming. He quickly rallied, moving onto an international basketball career. Sean, who was born on April 11, 1985, is currently 38 years old.
Sean’s played for a lot of teams throughout the world, including Aris Thessalonaki (Greek Basket League), JDA Dijon Basket (French League) and Aliaga Petkim (Turkish League). In 2010, he earned a spot in an NBA D-League team, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He stayed with that squad until April 2011. Then, he went back to Turkey, where he played basketball for years. His pro basketball career wound down in 2016.
In future seasons, Sean may be more of a presence on the reality hit. Right now, he and Brandi are still adjusting to reality TV show fame. They believe it has ups and downs. However, they’re in it together.
