Heather Rae Young from Selling Sunset recently celebrated her upcoming nuptials to fiance Tarek El Moussa at her bridal shower, and it’s time to give fans an inside look at the lavish event. The 33-year-old enjoyed her bridal shower amongst her closest friends, family, and Selling Sunset co-stars. It was held at the Fig & Olive restaurant in Newport Beach, California. The luncheon was a “ladies only” event, with a feminine and chic vibe. There was a party bus, champagne tower, and naughty gifts, including one from Heather’s mother.
Wedding planning has been a rollercoaster for the couple. After one year of dating, Heather and Tarek got engaged in July 2020. They recently put their wedding plans on hold after hitting a few obstacles in early August. Heather updated her fans on Instagram, explaining the ordeal saying, “…Tarek and I hired a wedding planner, sent out our save the dates, and then after rethinking some things we decided to change everything completely.” After dealing with a lot of stress, the future Mr. and Mrs. decided to take a break from planning. They hired a new wedding planner and started over. Heather and Tarek stated that they have no problem putting wedding plans on hold if it doesn’t feel right, so it’s good to see them getting back into it. Selling Sunset‘s Heather recently found her wedding dress, so it looks like everything is coming to fruition.
Heather’s costars have supported the bride-to-be during the wedding planning process. Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Davina Potratz, Maya Vander, and new cast member Emma Hernan attended the event in style. Heather shared numerous photos of the lavish bridal shower online. The decor included floral bouquets throughout the venue, pale pink plates with gold rims, gold silverware, pink chairs, candles, and even pink champagne. Heather decided to kick the party off by pouring champagne into the top of a tower of coupe glasses. After devouring vegan Meditteranean cuisine and playing party games, Heather was showered with gifts. Tarek from Flip or Flop gifted his fiancee a diamond bracelet, which his mom helped her to put on. Heather’s mom gave her an apron that read “Domestic Diva,” along with a spatula and handcuffs. Heather laughed at the humorous gift and responded on Instagram, saying, “Plot twist: My mom got me a naughty gift.”
Heather and a few of her friends left the venue in a party bus with plenty of drinks. The party came to an end when Heather met with her future hubby in person and sealed the night with a kiss. The Selling Sunset fan-favorite took to social media to express her gratitude. “I am so beyond blessed to have been showered with so much love at my bridal shower and to have shared this day with my closest friends and family,” she said on her Heather Instagram. Heather from the popular show Selling Sunset and Tarek did not give an official wedding date, but they keep hinting it’s “soon.”
Selling Sunset season 4 doesn’t have an official premiere date, but fans can expect the show to premiere sometime in 2022. There is also no word on whether the show will broadcast the wedding. However, there is a good chance that it will be shown. Mary and Christine Quinn filmed their weddings for the show, so it’s only right that Heather does the same.
