Selling Sunset season 5 ended with Chrishell and Jason Oppenheim calling it quits. The pair enjoyed a short-lived romance that lasted a few months before parting ways last December. It was due to their different views on starting a family that Chrishell decided to end the relationship. Jason shed tears during the reunion over the breakup and revealed how much he still cares for Chrishell. Fans had been hopeful for a possible reconciliation between the former couple. But by the reunion, Chrishell dropped a bomb by announcing her relationship with nonbinary musician G-Flip.
Maya went viral with the face she made while Chrishell opened up about her new romance during the reunion. On Mother’s Day, Chrishell posted a meme of Maya’s reunion show reaction to her romance reveal and showed there were no issues with her co-star. “Happy Mother’s Day to ALL of the mothers that are with us and to those that no longer are absolutely no matter how you got there,” Chrishell wrote in the Instagram post. She went on to note what a “supportive beautiful mom” that Maya is and how they “laughed about” the meme before she reposted it. Chrishell ended the comical post by confirming her relationship with G-Flip is the real deal. “I know a lot of you are confused,” she wrote. “But what is important is that I am not.”
Chrishell also thanked “the beautiful open minds that have shown support” since she made the big announcement. “I want to hug you,” she added. In addition to announcing her new partner, Chrishell premiered the music video that brought them together, which happened when she appeared in G-Flip’s video for the single “Get Me Outta Here.” Chrishell plays the lead in the “chaotic love story” she said the visuals depicted. After discussing her breakup with Jason, Chrishell opened up about her new love interest. “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me,” she told the group. She shared that G-Flip is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.
But it was Maya’s face that caught viewers’ attention as she appeared clearly taken aback by the reveal. Maya cleaned it up by saying she supports all types of love. She claimed she only looked confused because it was her first time hearing that Chrishell was dating someone. G-Flip is the third relationship Chrishell has entered into since divorcing her her ex-husband Justin Hartley. The Selling Sunset star continues to share her openness to finding love.
