Selling Sunset: Chrishell Stause & Jason Oppenheim Have Reportedly Split

Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have reportedly broken up after confirming their romance five months ago. The reality TV stars met when they began filming the Netflix series more than three years ago. At the time, Chrishell was married to her now-ex-husband, Justin Hartley. After it was confirmed that Chrishell and Justin were getting divorced, Jason started to develop a deeper relationship with his co-star. However, the two didn’t start a relationship right away since Chrishell began dating Dancing With The Stars pro dancer Keo Motsepe.

After her relationship with Keo ended after three months, Chrishell decided to date around and stay single for a while. At the time, she realized that Jason was someone she could see herself with and decided to give their relationship a chance. Chrishell confirmed her romance with Jason by sharing a series of photos of the couple’s vacation in Italy over the summer. Even though fans were shocked by the announcement, their Selling Sunset co-stars were well-aware of their budding romance.

Multiple sources close to the pair told People that Chrishell and Jason have ended their relationship after more than five months together. The insider didn’t reveal why the pair decided to end things or when the breakup took place. The publication did reach out to representatives for Chrishell and Jason; however, they did not respond to their requests for comment. The couple confirmed they were romantically linked in July. A month later, Chrishell spoke with E! News, where she admitted that she and Jason actually began their relationship a couple of months before the announcement. At the time, Chrishell said she and Jason wanted to keep their relationship as private as possible for as long as they could.

They avoided sharing their relationship online for as long as they could since they didn’t want the court of public opinion to affect their new romance. Jason commented on their relationship in July, saying how he and Chrishell developed an amazing friendship before they started dating, adding how much he also deeply cares for her. Fans are quite shocked by the news of their split as Chrishell recently shared a video to Instagram of her, Jason and Mary Fitgerald wrapping up confessionals for Selling Sunset season 5. In the video, Chrishell jokes with Jason about him crashing the girl’s trailer, claiming he wants to “get his hair done.” The actress also wrote in the caption of the post, “Lucky to get to do what I love with the ones I love!” The post was shared over the weekend, with the couple showing no signs of tension.

Sooner or later, Chrishell or Jason will likely address their split and explain what happened in the relationship. The Selling Sunset stars may have seemed like the perfect couple, but no one knows what happens behind closed doors. Hopefully, the breakup was at least amicable.
