It looks like Sci Fi channel is reviving the show Farscape, but is doing this as a Web based platform, bringing it to the viewers in a series of short films that we can use to kill our bandwidth from Scifi.com’s Sci Fi Pulse.
This effort is going to be a part of new original, online programming as Sci Fi has ordered 10 ‘webisodes’ of Farscape.
On what I consider to be more of a warning than an announcement, the web series will be expanding on the Farscape Universe (I’m guessing we may not see any of the original characters) and there have been no announcements on cast or dates.
So if you were getting wound up thinking you’ll be seeing the old gang from Farscape, I say we just hang on to our hats and see what develops.
