Santa Cruz Skateboards is releasing a board and apparel collection tied to the 70th anniversary of Godzilla, and Screen Rant is here with an exclusive first look. Founded in 1973, Santa Cruz Skateboards is one of the world’s most established skateboard brands, with many of its riders historically considered some of the most progressive and influential skateboarders of all time. Santa Cruz Skateboards is also the company behind the limited-edition Pokémon blind bag skateboards that became a trending topic in the fall of 2023.
Santa Cruz x Godzilla comes as the Titan turns 70 years old and shortly after Godzilla Minus One broke box office records. A number of skateboard decks will be released in a variety of shapes, each celebrating the iconic kaiju in style. For the non-skaters, and for people who don’t have the wall space to hang up a collectible deck, a variety of apparel options will be available as well.
